14/3/2018 23:26 | Herm -- apart from 3 - nil tonight where GD ? hermana3 14 Mar '18 - 20:31 - 54794 of 54796 Westie,Yer Butler will attest to that! Aey , t'was only thanks to you Herm with your persistent ringing early doors I got out with a massive gain. | westmoreland lad
14/3/2018 23:04 | westmoreland lad 14 Mar '18 - 20:27 - 54793 of 54796 0 1 0 and a certain way of making a shed load of money if you get it right Papillon. >>>>> And have you made a "shed load of money" by getting it right? Have your winnings exceeded your losses over the years? Be honest now. If you have then congratulations are in order as you are one of the exceptions that proves the rule. I can name COVE as a possible winner for you, but unless you're a canny trader (or a shorter) you can't have made money over the years by being a long term holder of PVR shares and PVR is not alone. I could name a whole list of AIM listed O&G disasters; PTR, TRP, LOGP, AFR, AST, BPC, CAZA, CHAR, UKOG, COP, FAST, GKP, HAWK, JKX, KEA, MAGP, MATD, MTA, MXP, NEW, PCI, RMP, RXP, SLE, TRAP, VOG, etc, etc. I could almost carry on all night. The list of O&G shares that have proved to be utter dogs for long term holders, especially those who bought near their all time highs, is almost endless. If you have made "shed loads of money" then again congratulations are in order. However if you have then I reckon you could be one of the very few of the posters on this bb to do so. | papillon
14/3/2018 21:19 | 1cag, TOR and Lord Westmoreland the only who have a shedload of money on here...... | hermana3
14/3/2018 20:59 | A shedload of money. Now there's a thought | 1cagney
14/3/2018 20:31 | Westie,Yer Butler will attest to that! | hermana3

14/3/2018 20:16 | Do I detect a hint of "Schadenfreude" mister Papillon? | funtimejonny
14/3/2018 13:38 | The EOG share price has performed absymally since the start of the year. It's obvious from reading this bb that many holders of PVR also hold EOG. I no longer gamble on AIM listed O&G's. Unless you're a short term trader with excellent timing gambling on AIM listed O&G's is an absolutely certain way of losing money. | papillon
14/3/2018 08:27 | Losing value by the day here unfortunately not a pretty sight | funtimejonny
14/3/2018 07:11 | Yes indeed | hermana3
14/3/2018 07:06 | Very interesting RNS over at EOG this morning :-) | stockriser
13/3/2018 22:17 | Herm it's a refreshing change from the p&d recently if you ask me. As hard as it is either the exclusivity talks end positively or negatively and that is outside of the normal punters control. | 1cagney
13/3/2018 21:26 | Gee from which rock did this shorting windbag worm out from? | hermana3
13/3/2018 16:47 | Seplat has no connection with Sequa, raisethestake. Sequa is listed on the Euronext Marche Libre and has operations in Kazakhstan: Whereas Seplat is a large Nigerian oil company listed on the London Stock Exchange with the Epic Code of SEPL. It has a Market Cap of £915m and the SEPL share price has doubled in the past 12 months! Not a bad performer! Far better than the PVR share price which has almost halved in the past 12 months! | papillon
13/3/2018 15:44 | Sorry Lars Windsorst and Sapindawere what I was thinking of. I wouldn't like to see The T getting into bed with this lot. | raisethestake1

13/3/2018 11:49 | It was Sequa that established an Irish subsidiary called Sequa Barryroe. I'm getting mixed up with my S's maybe. Can't remember the subsidiary involved and the association with a certain u desirable character last time round. | raisethestake1
13/3/2018 10:49 | I might be mixing up Sequa and Seplat. I had something in the back of my head of some connection between the two. Maybe Seplat is no subsidiary of Sequa. Too busy in work at the moment. I will have to investigate when I get time. | raisethestake1
13/3/2018 09:43 | Don't recall Seplat ever coming up here. Nigeria focused. | steelwatch
13/3/2018 09:10 | Isn't Seplat part of Sequa our old buddies who couldn't get the bond away for Barryroe. Who was it Registered a company called "Seplat Barryroe". The infamous dodgy Thor what's his name is stuck in the middle of all this. | raisethestake1 |
