I am not bothered by the FF stock issue - its a red herring in the bigger scheme of things and not likely to be material.

Frankly if DSM had not messed up the MM shot launch we would probably not even be talking about this.

On to By-Health and some meaningful revenue forecasts - cue the excuses about why we cant have them.

Jam tomorrow as ever.

Btw James & James our fulfillment partners (Fargal's suggestion to IF) for FF are very expensive to use albeit very good.Once again the easy option was chosen.

End of rant.

BB, Obviously its not great to have to write stock off nor is it a good look for customers who are receiving product that is close to its best before date.
However, remaining stock may be minimal and for all we know it may have been financially beneficial at the time to order a larger batch over 2 smaller ones.

gix er. Forever hopeful. :)

Although FF÷ sales were never likely to be material in relation to a company with a market cap of ~13 million it's not great that sales must have been less than anticipated.

Basically you wouldn't choose to run your stock to the point where, effectively you can't sell it and it looks like we'll have to write off some of it ( or maybe any remaining stock with an expired date will be heavily discounted ).

Not great sales management from Ford

Please note that our Fruitflow+ Omega-3 capsules currently have a Best Before End date of 31 July 2024.

A new batch of Fruitflow+ Omega-3 capsules is currently in production, and the new capsules are due to be available in late June 2024 – at which point this message will be removed.

sigma - the results are always posted at the 11th hour and website updated late wrt shareholder agm and notifiable holdings changes.
Ian does as he pleases and i doubt very much he is engaged full time - he initially came onboard post SIS demerger on a part time basis for £70k pa and is now on £160k pa
and i doubt he is engaged fully/full time.

The shareholders are to blame and he knows it - he wont take your call if he knows you are onto him.I have talked to him in the past but he knows i have seen through the charade now and tbh basing himself in Australia for years without saying so was out of order in my book.

This share will be my last foray in an AIM listed security for these reasons.

IF treats shareholders with no respect whatsoever because he’s been allowed to get away with it. He only announced the BH submission to us after giser found it and he only posted the results in December after the markets closed -
Recently there was a flurry of trades after giser (again) kindly shared the response to shareholder q by BH. He should have issued a “knows of no reason ” RNS at the time. The latest news at the website is nearly 18 months old. ciggy

BB, fwiw neither am I for the reason above.

It wouldn't take a genius to work out how much revenue/profit forecast would be related to B-H.

fwiw - I'm not expecting any meaningful forecasts in 2024, and wouldn't be surprised if that situation continues throughout 2025.

Gixer

The markets are full of companies which are suppliers to other companies and the overwhelming majority of them, normally via their house broker, provide revenue and profit forecasts so, personally, I think "commercially sensitive for our major client" is an easy excuse for our board to hide behind and, IF they use it then it probably means it's not as great as we hope.

The other one often trotted out is "we're in a closed period so can't say much", which again is easy to hide behind and "closed period" can be interpreted by different NOMADs differently, probably dependent on what and how they're asked for advice.

Christ, I'm a right old cynic !

With regards to a forecast sometime this year. Lets hope that by-health do launch at least one product before the end of the year but we, and by-health, are in the hands of the Chinese regulators atm.
Not trying to make any excuses but if B-H say that any forecasts on sales from them is commercially sensitive (which I suspect would be the case) then there isnt much IF can do IMO.

Rp if you read what I have said above ,the only way they could stay stum is if they are in negotiations with someone ! And announcing break even or even a small profit would jeopardise those discussions that of course imho

winner - to be fair i do not expect an rns for the sake of it but what i do expect
is a forecast sometime this year after By-Health launch.Any reluctance to do so will be a big no no and i feel that such an inaction would have to be challenged.

IF has done a fair job - he is a safe pair of hands and a competent individual but he is now on x 2 the salary he started on (he was part time post SIS demerger). My point is that he has ultimate responsibility for the performance here and after so many years of jam tomorrow it is now time to deliver the jam!!

From some point this year i would expect to see the beginning of real earnings growth and profits that should grow yoy for a long time to come.

I certainly hope so anyway.

Yeah with you on that ,just pointing out they are still selling after all these years,! agree we need to see the money now on the bottom line , it’s not on for IF to wait until Byhealth achieve Bluecap to let us know what’s happening.! I’ve invested a lot into this adding whenever funds allowed, taken all the dilution over the years and still stuck with trying to see the positives when rns’s have on the rare occasions been released I also believe income over the 23/24 year must be over the £1m mark £388k +270k+ £310 k and that with 3 months of the year still to account for , cost must have risen substantially for us not to have made a small profit which is reportable unless they are in significant negotiation with someone , I believe that is the LSE rules.,I think any negativity from the board should trigger a change is needed, imo.

Winner - tbh i am many years past the niche brands now - we need to make a profit and a decent one at that ...alll the niche brands in the world are not going to cut it at this stage.

Dont mean to be negative but we have had 11 + years of niche brands and we are yet to make a profit.

IF has to deliver this year period. No more excuses for jam tomorrows. If share price isn’t much higher at end of year, why would we want him or Buck to remain at the helm ? ciggy

Huntergis - i dont know how long you have held here but for us long termers this has been a serial disappointer year after year.As i have said before DSM dropped the ball on FF and i do not believe they were ever held to account for some of their decisions.

What lessons have been learned?

The only thing that will make the market sit up and rerate us is solid income. There simply have been too many false dawns here for anything less to help us.

IF must provide a forecast once By-Health launch - i doubt he will but if he is to have any credibility he must. You say he is approachable - only if you are in the cheerleading club. Its in his interest to keep you on side.

I wont be voting for any t/o either fwiw.

Also DSM IMO sold SM that they would turn fruitflow into a million $ a year product. This never happened and were nearly two years in on the gut product news and we have not seen anything. The DSM chap on our board (forgot his name) was a really nice chap and was always very optimistic but real revenue never happened. IF played a real blinder to get us a partnership with BI-Health and they have invested a lot of money. Of course they want there investment back and more but we should benefit greatly once they start selling.

Hopefully all the users will come direct to PXS for there Ff+. More money for us. H&B were supposed to promote this really well and even have staff training on the benefits of the product. Did not really happen as far as I know. Only really stocked in bigger stores then it reduced to outlets. I think we are now getting to the position where PXS are selling fruitflow to bigger fish. It's a nice little earner for us with also some small advertising effect. Hopefully we will have some news before the AGM which is not far away. A great time to buy still while the shares are under a penny. I for one will be buying. Seems SL is happy to hold what he has for now. I for one will not be voting for any TO with my 22 million shares. Aim is a a gamble with IMO some dodgy CEO but IF is certainly not one of them. Maybe nieve at times but very approachable. GLA

ciggy,It shouldn't really come as a surprise that Amazon and Holland and Barrett appear to be no more. From the interim results.
"Provexis will continue to sell its Fruitflow+ Omega-3 dietary supplement product direct to consumers, and serve its Chinese CrossBorder e-commerce distributor for this product in China." Amazon and H&B were always mentioned in previous results.
What is a surprise, well to me anyway, is the fact that fruitflow.shop also seems to have gone. Temporarily? time will tell.
As for Oriri, I doubt very much that this has anything to do with PXS.

that’s water under the bridge, I’m judging on his performance since we cut free from DSM. Big promises around mutilples of profit, but the shelves are empty in terms of stock - amazon, HB, Oriri, fruitflow.shop. It has only been giser that has stopped the share price being 0.1p now. ciggy

sigma - if he does not provide a forecast this year he should go.Simple as.He has earned several million + now for running a company that has minimal t/o - less than a decent fast food outlet and has never posted a profit.
I personally think our major shareholder will be pressing for a forecast and will exert pressure (as i suspect he did before with Buck) for same end.
IF knows he has been able to milk this because it is AIM and apathy reigns on AIM securities. He also knows he would earn a fraction of this in any other job that he could get.
Frankly £160k for managing the relationship with By-Health and negotiating a new agreement with DSM is way too much.DSM dropped the ball massively with FF and i know for a fact it has cost us at least one good customer due to their intransigence and the shareholders let it go.
I am sick of AIM co's where serial underperformance is all too often continually over rewarded at the expense of long suffering pi's.
