Hope no one got spooked by the traders this morning. No doubt they sold then tried the scare tactics across the boards lol

After all that looks like price will finish level at the end of play. Quite a few traders out as well couldn’t be better 😁

The way I read this is that the progress report shows no progress

HUI would have no problem getting ahead of Peel

HUI may have the first plant running .

They are contracted to pay PHE regularly and have already begun European deployment.

CEO desperately required but does anyone want the job? Peel are utterly useless ( waffle about planning permission after years is pathetic) and PHE need to press on with HUI and pray for a link with Linde

Hydrogen shares on fire - but not this

If they could just get the first one up and running I'm sure that they would get lots of orders in quick succession.

Wonder if this will be the first project to get into production, loooks like it’s a stand alone project and cheaper to develop

It also wants to develop a second waste plastic-to-hydrogen facility at Rothesay Dock, West Dunbartonshire. If approved, the £20m facility will create a source of hydrogen for use as a clean vehicle fuel, with a hydrogen refuelling station on-site.

Found it

The loan is set at Bank of England base rate plus 2% per annum and will accrue daily.

Don’t PHE get interest payments from the loan?

Going to be interesting how many other planning applications will be put forward over the next 12 months.

Gut feeling is that other green energy parks will be popping up all over the UK.

Yes, probably 6 or so years, off and on, but always on a long term basis. It has been very frustrating at times, and delays have pushed back the first installation by several years since the initial intention, but I firmly believe in the technology and I'm hanging in there!

PS: Sorry if I was rude!

Only just started researching so not that long so apologies if I’m not up to speed. Have you been invested for a number of years and are you still holding shares.

graham, I don't know how long you have been following this company in detail, but I've been here for a LONG time. They don't need to be producing, storing or selling hydrogen to make the DMG viable. When they initially planned to build the FOAK at Protos site, David Ryan (do you remember him?) stated that initially they would just be using the syngas to generate electricity, and the hydrogen would come later when there was a requirement for it.

So I don't need to read it again. It wasn't my decision to apply for planning permission before they had a waste plastics facility on site. That was the decision that was made by Peel. So if you think it was a bad decision, ask them about it.

You need to read it again. Why would they ship in plastic from elsewhere when there are no hydrogen storage facilities on site.

Let’s see how the planning decision goes then make a judgment on wether this will go ahead or not.

graham, you're not telling me anything I didn't know already. The PHE site planning permission was granted about 18 month ago, or more. Whether that was premature or not I have no idea, but that's what happened.

Anyway, I'm sure they could have trucked plastic waste in from elsewhere for a year or so if the waste plastic facility wasn't ready on-site. Peel must have had a plan at the time when they submitted the planning application.

Juju what excuses do you see, why would they build it with no plastics to feed it.

Sounds like your lost for excuses yourself. Would you build a gold processing plant with no gold mine to feed it.

The latest planning application features:

· A Materials Recycling Facility (MRF): which will separate out dry mixed recyclable materials (such as glass, paper, cans and card) into different waste streams and send them for recycling.

· Plastics Recycling Facility One (PRF1): plastic from the MRF and mixed plastics arriving pre-sorted to the site will be separated into different plastic types. The separated plastic will either go to PRF2 or the PET recycling plant already consented at Protos.

· Plastics Recycling Facility Two (PRF2): pre-sorted plastic from PRF1 will be washed and processed into flaked plastic which can be used to make new plastic products, such as food packaging or drinks bottles.

· Polymer Laminate Recycling Facility: plastic (such as crisp packets and baby food pouches) will be heated, the plastic will break down into an oil for reuse in manufacturing new products with the aluminum recovered for recycling.

· Hydrogen refueling station: taking hydrogen from the consented plastic to hydrogen facility to supply up to 1000kg of hydrogen per day to vehicles, sufficient to fuel approximately 20 HGVs from outside Protos and a similar number of internal HGV movements that will be servicing operations within Protos.

The application will now be considered by Cheshire West and Chester Council with a decision expected in early 2022.

No point having a facility to use plastic to make hydrogen if you don’t have the plastic on site to use. Read the new planning application.
