31/10/2021 20:30 | Fact is if oil companies could use plastics which are mainly manufactured from oil and gas could reduce their carbon footprint by recycling plastic into Hydrogen it would be a major PR boost. hxxps://www.thetimes | grahamwales
31/10/2021 16:02 | The more companies producing hydrogen the more outlets it will require to fuel vehicles. Competition is a good thing when starting a new product in fact Musk actively encouraged it knowing it would propel his business forward. If no one was going to produce hydrogen then it wouldn’t take off. It’s a lot easier to convert Petrol/Diesel filling stations to Hydrogen than it is to replace them with EV charging ports. | grahamwales

31/10/2021 12:47 | This should have been built a year ago . What a hitter it would have been at cop26 .Competition will demolish Phe and Peel who are both useless. . ONly hope is for one of the new names taking up the running . Lets hope they are in it for real | juju44

31/10/2021 06:11 | JCB, based in Uttoxeter, Staffordshire, announced earlier this month that it was spending £100m on a project to produce "super efficient hydrogen engines". Its chairman Lord Bamford said this deal would help to make green hydrogen a viable solution, telling the BBC it was "the right thing to do". Lord Bamford called on the government to invest in hydrogen-fuelled forms of transport such as buses, trains and aircraft. | grahamwales
31/10/2021 06:10 | Hydrogen usage picking up pace. | grahamwales
30/10/2021 14:44 | I know a few Shell stations that offer ITM hydrogen, but if we don't get more it can easily fail. I believe if we had as many hydrogen filling stations as EV, hydrogen would come on top as it only takes 4 minutes to fill up. Also, battery life comes down but not sure if there is a downside to Hydrogen? | myu_qpr
30/10/2021 14:10 | Yes it is, it’s PHE, PEEL, HUI, SWECO and Harald Ranke from LINDE. | cash2020
30/10/2021 14:03 | Think that meeting is HUI ,PHE and PEEL - not Linde , Pity , Linde would be great , Peel useless . | juju44
30/10/2021 13:36 | Need more hydrogen filling stations if it’s to take off. HGV’s will be the first to use Hydrogen en mass imo | grahamwales

29/10/2021 14:27 | Have been in the heavy goods transport industry for many years to many in fact. Also been running an electric car for the past 5 years (tesla). Biggest problem with batteries is the weight ok for cars but no good for HGV’s. This is why an alternative to battery powered vehicles is essential imo. Hydrogen is potentially the only alternative unfortunately it currently uses fossil fuel to make it so not very green. The use of waste plastics to produce hydrogen Will in fact kill two birds with one stone bearing in mind council’s actually send recycled plastic to landfill even though they claim it goes for recycling. Anyway if sufficient green hydrogen can be produced then it will be the answer for HGV’s | grahamwales
29/10/2021 14:07 | Afternoon Been on watch list for last couple of months finally bought in this morning. Will add some posts as time goes on but Hydrogen fits in well with the industry I am in. | grahamwales

29/10/2021 12:29 | So Hitachi with the UK government are presenting at 16:30 on the 11th November. Turns out that Hitachi and Toyota have entered into an agreement and are jointly developing Hydrogen Fuel cells to power trains. Testing starts in March 2022. No wonder Toyota and the Japanese government are all over PHE. This is going to be mega. | cash2020
29/10/2021 11:12 | Great proactively from hui once again though. Got to applaud their drive, they will be a great asset to phe once foak is there... Europe and the world opens up... | moontheloon |
