08/1/2018 08:35:19 | 'Recent' as in this morning? A lot of small O trades this morning.
Tipped somewhere over the weekend? | ed 123
08/1/2018 08:13:39 | Recent buying having some effect on share price this morning. Prelims 29th Jan. | gleach23
08/12/2017 16:50:54 | ED 123 - I suspect it will be taken out within that time-frame, and for more than 600p. The IP and contract book are astonishing; classic fodder for a major player/predator. | lurki0
08/12/2017 09:32:21 | Yes, looking good once again. At 600p the rating was so high that a bit of less good news was able to take it down. Would not be surprised to see Porvair back above 600p in 2(?) years. | ed 123
08/12/2017 07:26:05 | Today’s update looks good. Performance exceeding management expectations, and a small acquisition concerning robotic handling of lab samples. | dozey3
15/11/2017 09:08:21 | Pharma should be a good growth market for PRV microfiltration provided it gives it the right focus | rogerrail
19/9/2017 10:40:42 | looks like company its back on an even keel, no reason to me why share price should not continue its upward trend to previous highs. | rogerrail

11/9/2017 12:34:36 | Major support 400 by the looks of it - some fall ! | panic investor
11/9/2017 12:18:29 | A bit of support around 400 otherwise could be heading for 300.. rough look from charts | losses
09/9/2017 15:53:02 | Would now expect support and consolidation at around this level (430-460). A class act, notwithstanding the reported China underperformance. Given their spread of business and extensive range of proprietary assets it can only be a question of time -I believe- before they are are taken out. | lurki0
09/9/2017 12:02:39 | HNR - TWO wells successfully drilled with abundant oil and gas in samples extracted! Fracking and FIRST OIL next month! Don't miss this train! | happyholder123
25/7/2017 20:45:29 | After quietly getting on with it for years, prv seems to be getting a hammering. Was the the recent update so bad? Not sure whether to ride out the storm or get out to protect my capital, at least until things settle down. | tratante
13/7/2017 10:38:15 | i sold my entire holding a few weeks ago. the china market is becoming a drain on the performance of the business and i'm not convinced it will improve no matter how patient the BOD think they need to be. the improved strength in the £gbp was also a factor in my decision making process

27/6/2017 19:22:25 | Results looked OK.
Here are some things you should know: -
It is profoundly clear the weak British Pound is affecting their biggest division “Microfiltration”, which accounts for two-thirds of revenue. Revenue growth in the last four years have average 9% and grew by 45% overall. Meanwhile, operating profits saw average growth of 11.2% and 53% overall growth.
The big surprise is operating cash profits are down two years straight, with operating cash flow falling from £3.055m to £1.57m. If you look at net operating cash flow that collapsed from £2.4m to £0.1m!!

Meanwhile, for those favouring a longer-term analysis, which includes:
1. Divisional breakdown analysis; 2. Acquisition of J. G. Finneran Associates, Inc; 3. Market Opportunities and Growth; 4. Profitability trends; 5. Debt and Pension assessment; 6. Dividend coverage; 7. Pricing competitiveness, and 8. My Share Price Forecast, then
My overall conclusion, this is a company to own, but ONLY if the share price corrects by 25%, according to the fundamentals, technical and forecasts for the next two years. For more, click here: | walbrock82
27/6/2017 10:18:47 | Similar outcome to SOM's latest update. Decent results, growth in line with expectations, reports of slowdown in china and boom, price drops | villarich
27/6/2017 09:10:08 | Firm interim numbers. Continuation of strong growth trend in PBT and EPS (up 9% and 11% respectively). However the deceleration in revenue growth evidently indicates a flattening in the medium term of the stellar rises that we've grown accustomed to with this investment. The news from China was disappointing, and management clearly want to deal with it without getting involved in a silly race to the bottom. Quite right. Notwithstanding Peel Hunt's rallying cry of a reiteration, I suspect the share price will now plateau or drift down for a bit, certainly until figures on the traditionally stronger second half of the year begin to surface. Listing over 600,000 new shares didn't do the share price any favours yesterday, so there's that to digest as well. I remain an enthusiastic holder, but will trim on any rise in the days ahead. | lurki0
27/6/2017 07:07:21 | Prv do it again; another set of excellent results. | tratante
30/5/2017 09:50:32 | Hit 600 shortly after opening. Nice. TU due later this week. | lurki0
22/5/2017 20:24:32 | Another all-time high today. Yet no news behind it. Certainly makes you wonder. | lurki0
