Would now expect support and consolidation at around this level (430-460). A class act, notwithstanding the reported China underperformance. Given their spread of business and extensive range of proprietary assets it can only be a question of time -I believe- before they are are taken out.

After quietly getting on with it for years, prv seems to be getting a hammering. Was the the recent update so bad? Not sure whether to ride out the storm or get out to protect my capital, at least until things settle down.

i sold my entire holding a few weeks ago. the china market is becoming a drain on the performance of the business and i'm not convinced it will improve no matter how patient the BOD think they need to be. the improved strength in the £gbp was also a factor in my decision making process

Results looked OK.

Here are some things you should know: -

It is profoundly clear the weak British Pound is affecting their biggest division “Microfiltration”, which accounts for two-thirds of revenue.
Revenue growth in the last four years have average 9% and grew by 45% overall. Meanwhile, operating profits saw average growth of 11.2% and 53% overall growth.

The big surprise is operating cash profits are down two years straight, with operating cash flow falling from £3.055m to £1.57m. If you look at net operating cash flow that collapsed from £2.4m to £0.1m!!

Similar outcome to SOM's latest update. Decent results, growth in line with expectations, reports of slowdown in china and boom, price drops

Firm interim numbers. Continuation of strong growth trend in PBT and EPS (up 9% and 11% respectively). However the deceleration in revenue growth evidently indicates a flattening in the medium term of the stellar rises that we've grown accustomed to with this investment. The news from China was disappointing,and management clearly want to deal with it without getting involved in a silly race to the bottom. Quite right. Notwithstanding Peel Hunt's rallying cry of a reiteration, I suspect the share price will now plateau or drift down for a bit, certainly until figures on the traditionally stronger second half of the year begin to surface. Listing over 600,000 new shares didn't do the share price any favours yesterday, so there's that to digest as well. I remain an enthusiastic holder, but will trim on any rise in the days ahead.

Very positive trading statement. Still firing on all cylinders. Bought in 5 years ago, what a star this company has proved to be. And hardly anyone knows they exist.

Away last week and just catching up, nice to see such great results. Despite the illiquidity risk this is now one of my largest holdings and in a similar vein to others i feel theres a lot more in the tank yet.

Superb results today. What a remarkable investment this has proved to be. The company continues to increase revenues across all three divisions and accumulate cash at a fine rate.Following takeaway from Ben Stocks:
“Porvair finished 2016 strongly and the Group has started 2017 with a healthy order position. Investments in capacity and manufacturing capabilities allow room for further growth. The acquisition made in December 2015 continues to perform ahead of expectations."
So, YET MORE to come.
