06/12/2011 08:40 | That is a very good statement, reduction in debt level is icing on the cake, underlying business revs. grew to 9%, last update in Sept. they were 7% ahead. Also.... "Underlying order books across the Group for the first quarter of 2012 are healthy with the recently announced order from POSCO taking the current order book to record levels". Solid little company this. | owenski
06/12/2011 08:34 | Has there been an update? | whymps2
06/12/2011 07:29 | Tis a sweet pre close statement...shame it's on a day when it's tin hat day | kimball808
30/11/2011 17:59 | Chart's now forming a nice bull channel. And with some respectable volume. | lurki0
24/11/2011 21:13 | I think we will have a lot more tick ups than down. Not much stock around at the moment.Sellers will appear though. According to the Gasification Technologies Council 2011, gasification is a fast growing industrial process, with 25pc capacity growth between 2009 and 2011, almost all of which is in Asia and the Americas. Porvair said it had unmatched experience in the design and manufacture of hot gas (above 300°C) filtration systems for gasification processes, such as the process utilised at Gwangyang, and has considerable proven run-time over a period of more than ten years. Those last two senteances made me think about adding again today. | shauney2
24/11/2011 19:55 | Thanks for the link, Shauney. Ramifications of the following can only be guessed at, but it can only lead to wider interest from market-watchers:"Und | lurki0
24/11/2011 09:07 | In a confident market yesterdays good news would have been worth at least a 10% rise in the share price. | shauney2
23/11/2011 19:52 | Impressive contract. Global, exclusive, long-term. My kind of buy signal. | lurki0
23/11/2011 09:30 | Indeed Owenski going from strength to strength, the latest economic woes have been unduly harsh on their share price I feel. | tratante
23/11/2011 08:46 | Solid little company, shame about the spread, been watching for a while and picked up some today on the back of that latest contract, ISA'ed. Results late Jan. Dont think they'll be disappointing. | owenski
23/11/2011 07:45 | Big revenue increasing contract win. Ben Stocks, CEO of Porvair plc commented: "This is a significant contract for Porvair, in a market that we have been developing steadily for several years. Depending on final configuration it will generate revenues of $10-15 million. We will start manufacturing early in 2012, with first deliveries due at the end of the year and subsequent deliveries stretching out through 2013. Order books across the business are currently healthy, and this work with POSCO will go some way to underpinning our order position over the next two years." | shauney2
08/11/2011 21:55 | Point taken. But his puff around this time last year for Carclo worked very nicely. | lurki0
07/11/2011 23:02 | Try telling that to the Renold shareholders Lurki0 | gleach23
07/11/2011 21:17 | David Schwartz has spoken. Usually his benedictions are worth a dozen broker upgrades.Things might be about to become rather interesting. | lurki0
07/11/2011 09:31 | The previous year's dividends were 1.0p and 1.3p. 2.3p total dividend gives current yield of 2.56% for buyers at 90p. | ed 123
07/11/2011 09:11 | Looks like I took the wrong figure. ADVFN states divi of 2.61p which at say a 90p buy price, gives a divi of 2.87%? | cestnous
07/11/2011 08:51 | Nope. Yield is about 2.5%. | ed 123
07/11/2011 08:33 | Yield on this now about 5%? | cestnous
04/11/2011 23:49 | Why is this falling so much on such thin volume? | tratante
04/11/2011 16:11 | Whas that a good old fashioned tree shake at 11?.Someone got caught for a few thousand. | shauney2
25/10/2011 10:54 | perhaps, but could just be a realisation that a co that is outpeforming and beating expectations on all fronts (see recent statement) is wallowing well below it's real value. Knocked by the general uncertainty, but it is operating in fields that are essential so it can do well despite the gloomy outlook. IMHO these should be at least around the 110 mark, so plenty of upside to go. | tratante
25/10/2011 09:28 | These are moving, wondering if something is happening in the background! | tomb trader
24/10/2011 12:05 | bit more like it! | tratante
04/10/2011 11:18 | I would like to think that it can only get better, but have the feeling that we are going to have to wait for the market to turn around before there is any chance of seeing three digits again. D | dolphinspirit |
