Irony of ironies. If you Google "Qatar as a holiday destination" they boast it's the safest country in the world for a holiday.

Tell that to the people of Israel and Gaza.

Time to boycott Qatar as a holiday destination.
Time to kick Qatar off the Formula 1 calendar.
Time to publicise Qatar is a state sponsor of terrorism.

No, of course I did not write that post all by myself Gecko. Your wife drafted it for me. She said she was tired of trying to get you to understand, let alone accept it her overview as correct, and thought you might be more receptive if you saw it in print. It seems her hopes may not have been entirely fulfilled, as you have now fallen prey to an electoral conspiracy theory. You should not believe everything you read in tweets. Perhaps be a bit more discriminating in the selection of those you follow?

Even if you continue to follow those twitterers, I respectfully suggest that you not bang on about the conspiracies you read there at home, lest you further strain marital harmony!!

The UN is nothing more than a knocking shop these days for 'special interests' many of which are for the most undesirable countries around the world.
