There was clearly a large offer at 1600p yesterday and that would likely have been Odey.

Yes nice profit for Odey - weren't they originally in sub 200?!

So despite Odey selling the price is very strong over the past few days so presumably a large buyer in the market pre results.

Perhaps shorts closing?

You could also have written “Odey have yet again rebalanced owing to their 10% fund limit. Once again a highly profitable rebalancing having repurchased at all sorts of prices from 1400p down to 1200p - at a time when shorts were establishing their positions and providing liquidity”.

The recent 10% run-up in prices would have taken their position from 10% to 11% and so the sale of 1% is hardly surprising. I must have said this nearly ten times over the past two years - you should pay attention. Watch and learn, as is sometimes written on this board.
