I’m also thinking that up is inevitable sooner or later. Nothing has changed for plus since H1. Odey and Blackrock don’t go Long in a big way if they believe it is going south

1400 seems to be offering some support. Hussyo - The fall is due to the updates from IG and CMC, nobody citing ESMA yet.

... but have Plus stolen market share and fairing better that the others, that is the question to be answered.

higher or lower short term is painful to watch but med term, solid investment

Ha, no idea sb888, and no idea whether tomorrow will bring an up or down day for PLUS, but with another day comes another c£1m free cash flow.

Which way will the wind be blowing at 2.30 tomorrow?

Have to appreciate that we have people looking to make money over different timeframes here, some in the days and weeks, others months and years. I prefer long term investment and study of fundamentals/FCF. I respect those who look at charts and are in/out in hours or days but I don't have a clue with that.. you may aswell ask me which way the wind will be blowing at 2.30pm tomorrow! ESMA rules and updates from IGG and CMCX have clearly spooked the market, pulling down PLUS due to the same market sector. To me, nothing has changed at PLUS and (unlike IGG and CMCX) PLUS had already put in an astounding performance in H1 and Q3 trading was already going well. PLUS operate on a much more efficient ratio and don't have the patchy Revenue/FCF levels that the other two have shown over the last couple of years, CMCX especially - they are both losing ground to PLUS, shown not just in the share price growth over the last 5years (PLUS 950% vs IGG 28%, CMCX -39%) but also in their revenue growth (PLUS avg 51%, IGG 8%, CMCX 12%). I'm not surprised at the pullback, and the negative ripples from IGG and CMCX given the sector comparisons, but these are very different companies in terms of profit generation and margins.

There must be significant sells countering their buys for the price to drop like this..

They add, they cut and they add. This volatility is perfect for them - so long as their core investment thesis holds up. They believe they know more than any other actor in this saga.

I hope that they are as correct on this as they ended up being on Sky. On Sky Germany they more than quintupled their money, and did almost as well on the bigger Sky sold over the weekend. Their stock picking remains good, although the hedge fund suffered badly on aggressive macro calls that were frustrated by QE.

1400 seems to be quite a key level at the moment.

I suspect not. I think you cut your short a tad early (though never a harm taking profit), but as I am long term on this, I’m kind of talking my own book as I intend buying cheaper for the medium/long term. Might buy a little here anyway!

Will 1400 keep at the close? That could be key for tomorrows trading

I don't see the hawkishness from the Fed some are expecting - surprises on data to the downside are numerous - so I'm with Fres.

In looking at TUI. Recent drops due to Brexit fears and poor trading updates from Thomas Cook. Trading update for TUI is Friday I believe.

Anyway back to Plus. I am tempted to get back in in the hope of a rise towards 15. Will watch it today and decide tomorrow. I have been in and out a few times on this over the last month, I am currently out but I feel like I am missing an opportunity.
