I don't think that is correct. They identified 12% of customers who could be professional, who account for 70%. It will be interesting to see at results time the rate of conversion.

They estimated over 70% of business comes from professional status clients so the vast majority won’t be affected

Jimbo, quite possibly and many believe it has a lot further to go. However, the higher it climbs, the further it could fall on any significant repeat of the various regulatory bumps that it has stumbled over. And these are not very predictable things.

James Hanbury of Odey has owned this from the get-go and has reiterated his continuing positive view.

Looking at a demo account it has Options Trading whereas others don't, a good international selection of markets and slightly different margin structure (initial and maintenance) and very simple and clear layout.
So far, so good.

Can anyone tell me why PLUS is a more attractive offering for traders than say IG or CMC?
Just to get an idea of its relative merits driving the share price

What a run up. New highs every day and sooner or later we'll see £ 20 (before first half results itself). Looks like some big boys are buying heavily.
