23/2/2016 10:02 | SP up 8.8% support gaining | knicol46
22/2/2016 11:40 | SP up 8%. from scheme document.. The increase in the pro forma net assets of the Enlarged Group is mainly due to the fact that at the acquisition date there will be a recognition of the fair value of the PSD502 patent (intangible asset) net of deferred taxation of US$171.9 million. Based on the Closing Price of HK$0.069 of a Share on 29 January 2016 and 14,047,113,239 Consideration Shares being issued in connection with the Transaction, the Enlarged Group would have an assumed combined market capitalisation of approximately HK$1,209.77 million. 19/2/2016 10:48 | Noirua, absolutely right, most odd, like they don't want the business - you might want to try TD Direct Investing - they cover all international markets, execution is excellent form my experince and I undertsand they are familiar with Ple situation and are doing utmost to facilitate account transfers within a a few days. Seems they may have seen the business opportunity. | lagosboy
19/2/2016 10:32 | It is surprising Hargreaves Lansdowne have not yet got into the International investment world yet, as far as holding shares in Hong Kong is concerned. The Vantage Platform is clearly not first rate, as far as investing on line in Asian shares is concerned - a great shame as Hong Kong is an increasingly important market as Chinese companies move in and create subsidiary holding companies there. Had a phone call, like many, that was just finding out if I'd voted as yet. | noirua
19/2/2016 10:32 | cyberhub - yes you are correct, it is even a little better than that, in that Ple has been subject to an indepnedent professional valuation which came in at 15.75 p. The vehicle taking over Ple does have cash and asets of circa £10 m . To counter catscats who says ''we all know that the RP share price will come down by 1/2 when the offer goes through'' If that were indeed well known to all why arn't RP shareholders selling in their droves? Gain of 25%- hardly worth the hassle - obviously somebody that is used to outperforming all the benchmarkes by some margin. Plenty of time for Ple to rise back to 6p + patience | lagosboy |
