16/2/2016 02:12 | Has anyone here managed to get an answer from HL about how they're going to handle this? The people who answer enquiries just say they don't know. I can't believe they don't know, it's two weeks till the meetings and about a month till the new shares are issued. | zangdook
12/2/2016 05:22 | For Hargreaves Lansdown you just send them a secure message telling them how you want to vote. 5.73% of the company is held through HL, so it makes a difference. | zangdook
11/2/2016 23:59 | Mortimer 7 I had the same phone call; no idea how they got my phone number; I could not engage as I was rushing out but surprised that they are going to this cost | cerrito
11/2/2016 16:14 | Correct me if I am wrong, but from memory a 75% majority of the votes cast is required. ie. if only 4 shareholders voted holding one share each, 3 would be required BUT it is also important for the Court to be staisfied that a fair/reasonable representation of shareholders is present, so the exmaple would likely fall over. | lagosboy
11/2/2016 15:35 | It's important to vote. Don't think your votes don't count. It does happen sometimes that a sure thing doesn't get voted through because some institution has its own agenda and PIs don't bother to vote. IIRC in 2009 or 2010 URU was planning a very worthwhile in specie distribution of its shareholding in the rather more valuable KAH but a major shareholder, who had agreed to vote for, changed his mind and voted against. I hadn't bothered, but if everyone had voted it would have gone through. If you hold with a nominee, talk to your broker. Unless they're complete rubbish they'll take your voting instructions. | zangdook

11/2/2016 14:12 | Just been called by Boudicca Proxy Consultants(?) working on behalf of Plethora & basically enquiring how I intend to vote. | mortimer7

06/2/2016 15:25 | It's not the fact that HK have a lot of suspended shares on their books, its the company the product and Jim and his crew with a huge amount of cash invested already in PLE that is the point. 2016 will end a positive year IMO and we shall see ------ Cheers | stoneyd

05/2/2016 20:52 | Can't get my head around this share. I too hope the product comes out but surely if we convert to HK there'll be massive selling on open if product is not ready. I do think the conversion is in our best interests but I don't like feeling hoodwinked. | europa79
05/2/2016 16:52 | catscats - I agree, there is always risk, but RP does has cash and there is a signed licence with Recordati - probably a good one to stir fry with a touch of Viagara source and hope we catch the Chinese in a gambling mood. | lagosboy
05/2/2016 16:36 | Can anyone recommend a good broker for trading in HK? | nidgeyr

05/2/2016 15:54 | lagosboy - I sincerely hope that Regent has/gets the cash to bring Fortacin to market but it is still a risk. If investors really thought PLE was worth more then the discount to Regent would not be so great. HK is not such a great market anymore - there are dozens of shares indefinitely suspended, and some really vicious sell offs in small caps (I know)...Maybe they can 'stir fry' the Regent/Fortacin story in HK (as the saying goes in HK)... | catscats
05/2/2016 14:45 | I don't think anyone knows the true value in PLE. I know my Pension fund has been battered, lost two thirds in this, thought it be around 9 to10p mark personally. | bobby.ifa
05/2/2016 13:57 | Another meaty buy reported.. | tsmith2
05/2/2016 12:10 | 1) HK market far more liquid than AIM - RP is in a transitional period from being an investment company in the oil/mining sectorr to a pharma company. 2)Ple was valued independently at $ 194,891,000 or circ 15.7p - RP shareholders may well feel they are getting the asset cheap and this should negate any huge drop in the share price Your point Your point 2) is slightly at odds with your point 1) and worth mentioning short positions are illegal in HK for RP. 3)RP has circa £10m, £6 m due from Recordati mid 2016 on stability tests varation approval. 2 other livensees lined up (albeit smaller) conditional on variation approval so may see another £5 m and the commercial launch of Fortacin will beign in third quarter so royalty generation should(hopefully) be not too far away. It is great pity that the reduced fillcannister took everyone by surpise and imposed a delay to find a technical solution to that issue. | lagosboy
05/2/2016 11:16 | looks a steal but UK share price is telling you that it may not be so good... I see 3 risks: 1) when you come to sell your new Regent shares there is no liquidity 2) Regent share price falls anyway by 2/3 to reflect current value of Plethora 3) Plethora's product is going to take a load more cash to come to market - all a bit tricky... | catscats
05/2/2016 11:01 | Mad to sell at these levels.. | tsmith2
05/2/2016 10:27 | I've added a few which I haven't done for some time! I can't understand the price at these levels and see no issue with the HK listing. Maybe a delay in transfer to local market but no matter for lth. | andyview
05/2/2016 10:13 | What is the cut off date for buying PLE shares that can be converted to RP should the deal go through? | trend surfer |
