As readers know, the chairman has orchestrated a bid by Regent Pacific (575 on HKSE) for Plethora (PLE). Because in effect PLE is leaving here for HK and is larger than RP and because PLE punters do not wish to be involved in a HK quote, PLE is depressed (as has been pointed out by this morning’s IC). So I bought again – this time at 4.4p.

Does everything Jim Mellon touches turn to rubbish? From being very successful in his early career he seems to have lost a lot of money recently. Mining was a very bad move. Will this also be? If you look at his portfolio at Braeburn nearly everything looks a near disaster. If he has leverage it could be a problem, but I don't know.

The loan agreement states that the Scheme of arrangement will complete 31st March 2016 which is presumably the date the RP deal completes. I don't think this has been disclosed before.

Everything in place - only approved treatment, huge market, cash, canister resolved subject to stability test now underway, Recordati deal, two further licensing deals waiting stability test, FDA submission underway, tax optimised, RP share price remaining firm.

Even the Baker Brothers situation may have been overblown.

At theses levels looks very cheap to me.

Doe's not matter if PLE drop to 1p or climb to 10p we will still get 15.7 RP shares for every PLE shares we own! it's the RP share price that matters.. ;0)
