11/7/2018 10:13 | Playtech at present reminds me of a well known football song. “It’s going down, it’s going down, Playtech’s going down”. | ![]() brexitplus
11/7/2018 10:13 | On 3 July post 2806, I wrote: "I feel PTEC is not telling us something." I have considerable distrust in the events that have unfolded this month. | nod
11/7/2018 10:06 | The Bloomberg piece is, I think, posing the possibility of "insider knowledge" given the very substantial trade by an unnamed hedge fund. extracts: "The block of shares that changed hands in Playtech around the sale was about 14 million shares, or around 4 percent of the company, according to data compiled by Bloomberg. The average daily volume traded in Playtech is around 1.6 million shares, the data show. The company’s management and others with access to material information are prevented by European regulations from selling shares for 30 days before interim or year-end financial reports. Other investors don’t have specific restrictions unless they’re in possession of insider knowledge." | nod
11/7/2018 09:39 | Bloomberg “A Mystery Investor Sold Playtech Stake Before Profit Warning By Ruth David and William Canny 10 July 2018, 21:05 BST Updated on 11 July 2018, 09:12 BST Goldman Sachs sold $160 million stake for U.S. hedge fund Sale happened two weeks before shares tanked on warning” | ![]() brexitplus

11/7/2018 08:33 | No big volumes this morning. Support, for the present, at 500p. But going down a couple of percent every day. Balance sheet intangibles over 1 billion!!! | ![]() brexitplus
11/7/2018 08:24 | Sun 5 - hmmmm. Not good what trent? | bor491
11/7/2018 08:24 | Noujay, agree. Sentiment and stop losses I think. | ![]() brexitplus
11/7/2018 08:22 | Yes could certainly do with some positive news although this hasn't just become half the company it was, as another recently observed. | ![]() noujay
11/7/2018 08:18 | Noujay. Dropped just below 500 briefly this morning. Gradual decline which I think won’t be arrested until there is some positive news. | ![]() brexitplus
11/7/2018 08:17 | Time for more here for me, this price is too low to resist, its not exactly going pop! | ![]() noujay

10/7/2018 20:19 | Bought in today, half of what I want to invest in ptec at 511.87 so in the money already 😆 | ![]() finkie
10/7/2018 19:55 | If it gets down to 465p I have money to invest. Price is, imho, going to keep drifting down. Board already said wait for the ANNUAL FIGURES, not the interims. | ![]() brexitplus
10/7/2018 16:28 | Sadly sold out with a substantial loss, reaction since profit warning not good and I really think the Italian buy will prove to be bad timing in the short term. Hope I'm wrong but good luck to the rest left in. | ![]() oohrogerpalmer
10/7/2018 16:22 | 10% i think | bor491
10/7/2018 13:41 | How much of plus do they still own out of interest? | ![]() noujay
10/7/2018 12:07 | Share price is pretty much 50% down on where it was a year ago, is the business half as good ? I very much doubt it. You have gone from overvaluation to total pessimism which could take the price lower still. Fair value is probably around £7 - £8. | eastbourne1982
10/7/2018 11:50 | With yield plus potential it is looking like a very attractive entry pointQuestion is whether China is permanent effect and the Italy advertising issueHmmmm, tricky one but getting hard to resist | ![]() trentendboy
10/7/2018 10:50 | Bor491 Totally agree. It’s a matter of the entry point. | ![]() brexitplus
10/7/2018 10:21 | anything that happens will only have short-term impact. USA has a population of 325.7m and small moves towards gambling are leading to good expectations that the market will finally open up. But when you look at india (1.324 billion), brazil (207.7 million)...etc you start to understand that the true potential...this is not just about china (which by the way with a population of 1.379 billion can accommodate several providers). What would happen if China finally started easing its gambling restrictions? | bor491
10/7/2018 08:56 | Barclays sets target of 575p today, hence possible reason for fall. HL showing div of 6+% and PE 9. | ![]() brexitplus
10/7/2018 05:00 | The profit warning would suggest that the future dividend will be much lass than in recent years. They may also need to invest more if we are losing out to competitors. | nod
09/7/2018 16:19 | What is the dividend at these levels? Must be high and almost worth coming into on that basis alone! | ![]() noujay |
