The Bloomberg piece is, I think, posing the possibility of "insider knowledge" given the very substantial trade by an unnamed hedge fund.

No big volumes this morning. Support, for the present, at 500p. But going down a couple of percent every day.

Yes could certainly do with some positive news although this hasn't just become half the company it was, as another recently observed.

Noujay. Dropped just below 500 briefly this morning. Gradual decline which I think won’t be arrested until there is some positive news.

If it gets down to 465p I have money to invest. Price is, imho, going to keep drifting down. Board already said wait for the ANNUAL FIGURES, not the interims.

Sadly sold out with a substantial loss, reaction since profit warning not good and I really think the Italian buy will prove to be bad timing in the short term.
Hope I'm wrong but good luck to the rest left in.

Share price is pretty much 50% down on where it was a year ago, is the business half as good ? I very much doubt it.

You have gone from overvaluation to total pessimism which could take the price lower still.

Fair value is probably around £7 - £8.

anything that happens will only have short-term impact. USA has a population of 325.7m and small moves towards gambling are leading to good expectations that the market will finally open up. But when you look at india (1.324 billion), brazil (207.7 million)...etc you start to understand that the true potential...this is not just about china (which by the way with a population of 1.379 billion can accommodate several providers). What would happen if China finally started easing its gambling restrictions?

Barclays sets target of 575p today, hence possible reason for fall.

The profit warning would suggest that the future dividend will be much lass than in recent years. They may also need to invest more if we are losing out to competitors.

What is the dividend at these levels? Must be high and almost worth coming into on that basis alone!
