From the interims : "In addition, the multi-location set up of the Group may give rise to transfer pricing risk, mitigated by the fact that the key intra-group transactions are documented and take place on an arm's length basis unless local legislation stipulates different requirements."

Burying bad news over Christmas and New Year is terrible, how many more skeletons in the closet. I've not seen reference to this Isreali Tax audit before, was it known ?

Penrose has only been on the Board 10 minutes so can't be the one to blame for awful performance over the past 8 years.

Penrose must be sacked, he is a loser and will destroy Playtech.

Merry Christmas all. It has not been a good year or two for PTEC.We are now below where we were in March 2010. That's a very poor performance over eight years compared with its peers. What's gone wrong here? The executives have become greedy in relation to performance. Based on performance they should get a low salary and no bonus.I think we are still diverting too much cash to Sagi's companies. These payments to a related party has been reported in the Annual Reports each year but from now on does not get reported. I'm not comfortable with that.

major support is at 383p, below that 379p. thats only a small drop away. below that and it gets ugly. maybe a drop sub 350p today.

Well there's another reasons for the sustained drop, bad news over Christmas is never a good sign even of the legislation was only passed on the weekend.

The market always knows !!!!

10% down today or much more ?

haha - nod I'm guidfarr thanks for the recall - ADVFN had terminated my guidfarr account so I had to start a new nick!! Since then I started using a few nicks. I should really have another one created like guidfarr2 or something. I'm back in this (quite heavy) but perplexed how it went down - right now am quite heavily underwater. I do believe that long term this is good value.

I sometimes wonder where thread creators are now?

Guidfarr created this thread in October 2009 - over nine years ago. An incredible life for an active BB thread.

Guidfarr was an active poster on advfn from 2001 and on PTEC for a few years.
It seems his last advfn post was in 2013 on the 888 thread.

Having been on advfn since its beginning with Beta testing in 1999, I've seen many players 'retire not out'.

The share price has been weak since Sagi sold on 23 November. Volumes quite high so may be some short-term trading going on.

There are some bargains around for those that have not been totally blown away (well done all those that moved to cash).

With Sagi gone are we moving into T/O levels ?

After what has happened to TAP today i feel even better about adding at these levels. Sagi sold out and the renewed focus on Corporate Governance are worth a re-rate alone!

Does Safecharge get any revenue from the USA?If they do it may help with future licenses.I had a quick look and SCH seems to get 87% of revenue from customers in Europe and 13% from ROW. Presumably, the majority of that 13% comes from Asia.SCH doesn't seem to mention USA but does have some assets in North America (which could be Canada or USA).

This is a nice story now - I think it is extremely undervalued but the activist is correct that US ambitions were restrictedNow they can start strikes dealsThey should buy GAN for chump change for a start

Although no longer a related person, PTEC still pays nine Sagi-owned companies for services supplied. These include Safecharge. The bear case for US licenses is that we use Sagi to process all our payments. US regulators may take a cynical view of this arrangement.

This is great news, Ader has effectively removed Sagi in 3 months. Next objective is to refocus the business and with Sagi gone we have a better chance at US expansion. Expecting a nice rerate now. Anyone got a non market specific bear case since Asia performance has bottomed I can’t think of one? Always good to have an activist on board!
