US market appears lost though - I hope they are planning something at least.

Isn't William Hill penetrating the USA? Playtech powers its FOBT terminals in the UK and some of its online offering - can't see why they can't use their expertise in the states as well....

Trent, yes Plus holding has gone up 2.5 times just in the past 12 months.Re the USA ... PTEC is on the bad boys list and cannot operate in the USA. That's why they had to find other markets.

PLUS500 flying - that was a very strong investment (pity they failed to buy it outright at the time).

Still think the PTEC fall is overdone.

Question is whether they can fight it out in China.

The Snaitech headline growth numbers for H1 were good. Revenues are included in PTEC accounts from 5 June."Playtech is also pleased to announce that Snaitech has today released its interim results as of 30 June 2018, highlights include:-- Improved profitability (EBITDA up by 33.4% to approx. Snaitech enters Spain as Playtech deal nears completion
26 July 2018

Snaitech managing director Fabio Schiavolin is targeting a swift rollout of the company’s ‘Smart Technology’ offering across Spain “in the coming months” after securing a licence to make its first move outside its home market of Italy.

Snaitech is set to have a retail betting presence in Spain through the BetSmart platform by the end of this summer after linking up with operator Apuestas de España to launch Apuestas by Snai in the country.

Snaitech will ultimately offer various online and mobile app sports betting products, as well as betting terminals and payment processing services.

Playtech BGT Sports, supplier of omni-channel sports betting technology, has partnered with Corporación Caliente of Mexico, a leading gaming operator, to use the Playtech self-service betting terminals in the Caliente casinos.The two companies are already working together since 2014 with the online casino offering. Fidelity reduced holding to below 5%.

Also, having received the 2017 Annual Report hard copy, it seems strange that while revenue from Europe, including €6.5 million from Norway, is itemised by country is included in Note 4, while China and Malaysia are lumped together in Rest of the World which produced revenues of €110 million.

Also gaming and trading figures are lumped together.

Hiding something then which came out in the Trading Update?

I’m still not convinced that all of the bad news is out. While there appears to be support around 510p we still haven’t enough information.

Brexit+ , just to clarify the bookmaker for the short seller was not Morgan Stanley as some have reported, it was Goldman Sachs on behalf of a US hedge fund..July 11, 2018, 8:05 AM GMT+12 Updated on July 12, 2018, 3:48 AM GMT+12> Goldman Sachs sold $160 million stake for U.S. hedge fund> Sale happened two weeks before shares tanked on warningMS presumably could see the GS selling and sold some or all of its own holding as it reported. Perhaps market just sensing the fall is overdone now and the fast selling has been done. I hope so anyway as a) I think it is overdone and b) I'm currently underwater!

brexitplus, I share your views. Company just seems to have lost its way, management greedy, questionable acquisitions - there are now just too many questions

Should have been a world beater heading for the FTSE 100, if this carries on they will be heading back to AIM

Just as an addition, the business model seems to be getting complicated and perhaps not well implemented. Gives me a level of uncertainty.
