Re above

In summary valuation and price paid largely dependent upon 2019 EBITDA. A clever and cautious deal by Playtech imo

Anybody know more on ACM progress?LeapRate Exclusive... LeapRate has learned a number of further not-yet-disclosed details about Playtech's 2017 acquisition of Forex and multi-asset market maker and white label provider Alpha Capital Markets (formally ACM Group Limited). And, that the deal – widely reported as a $150 million acquisition – will most likely end up being completed for (a lot!) less than that amount. What were Alpha's annual Revenues and EBITDA leading up to the acquisition? Why is the actual amount paid by Playtech to ACM shareholders – which won't be fully settled until 2020 – likely to be a lot less than $150 million? Get all the details and analysis, exclusively at LeapRate.

PLUS is flying again. PTEC's investment there has gone up three-fold over the past year, without lifting a finger.I would sell some now if I were PTEC.

A price of 1010p was very good given the quantity. It was a good return for PTEC. It looks like it will be good for GVC too as the buyer looks like a long-term investor at that price.

So they got £200 million for their stake.

Not bad return - using the money to pay down debt and acquisitions - makes sense

Better to put the money to good use for PTEC plc rather than having the money tied up

Yes, I sure GVC will buyout the LADS contract or let it expire.PTEC did a great job on LADS online but GVC have all the inhouse skills they need.Probably a good moveJust a pity they failed to buy Plus500 when they had the chance

Trent, it looks a good time for PTEC to sell its GVC shares. It's possible that GVC will have headaches with its now significant brick and mortar chain. PTEC earns revenue from the LAD contract until it expires or GVC buys out the contract so it can integrate LAD Corals more quickly.PTEC may decide to sell its PLUS holdings too, while markets are high.

Toggle,
Don't hold your breathe waiting.
Last time I got a non £ divi payment it took Barclays 8 weeks to convert it.
I put a complaint in & got £100 compo which more than paid for the slight price difference when it was reinvested.

Divi received Monday,I'm with IG and they seem quite prompt. Only downside, no DRIP facility yet, it's on their 'priority list' which means 2025 :-s

Yes, Playtech's performance has been very disappointing. It doesn't help investor sentiment when the board's focus was on giving execs bonuses massively out of synch with its revenue performance, share price and shareholder rewards. All eyes are on the USA these days and PTEC has nothing to offer there.

That is true but they do like a gamble :-)

In hindsight impressively bad timing buying Snaitech but strategicially very important and things are moving so quickly in this sector they needed to bulk up
