30/1/2014 08:17 | I think a few people thought it might go bump, but there's been a lot of investment in manufacturing and sales, resulting in high costs for the previous level of sales. Move the sales level up and hey presto. Not unusual in a manufacturing business. Good thing is, its relatively early days in their market. | yump
30/1/2014 08:15 | Impossible to buy in volume - Max seems to be 10K- So if any new demand could well see a significant spike - Top of the leader board but no volume - MM's trying to shake stock loose (imo) | pugugly
30/1/2014 08:14 | Really good to see quotes like growing and substantial IP.... | chrisdgb
30/1/2014 08:13 | No wonder Directors were buying last month at 5p ! | rampster
30/1/2014 08:12 | PSL PhotonstarLED £10m sales but only valued at £4m ? Check out this new product they are going to launch soon www.halcyon-lighting | rampster
30/1/2014 08:06 | Given the history, it will probably need new investors - any previous holders have probably averaged down by now and seen it carry on down. New investors will take a while to filter through after seeing the update. Not a bad opportunity if the Crest Nicholson homes continues - if its them its a rolling one year contract. If that is what made the second half better, its a nice extrapolation for the next year or so. | yump
30/1/2014 08:03 | Great update, cannot understand the muted price reaction.......shoul | chrisdgb
30/1/2014 07:44 | GWR7 Thanks for the spot and links etc. I guess many of the holders from a while ago saw the September announcement and thought 'so what'. A pure guess, but say a couple more million on the turnover looks like it could start to look cheap if it starts growing reliably. eg. £500,000 profit gives about 0.5p per share earnings, which would be a p/e of 10 at 5p. Edited sleepy bit out ;-) brain not engaged. In any case the market cap in relation to the revenue is about 50% which is very low. | yump
30/1/2014 07:42 | Excellent progress! | witheco
30/1/2014 07:13 | Looks like directors' buys were more significant than a few pi's selling out at the bottom on an illiquid share. Next step is to squeeze some earnings out, which shouldn't be that difficult. A turnover of almost £10mln in a company with good products should be able to generate a few hundred thousand. Perhaps the sales costs will back off gradually and it would be interesting to know how manufacturing efficiency is geared to volume. | yump
30/1/2014 07:06 | RNS today confirms recovery and revenue's are growing. 18% growth in second half! | dolores123
28/1/2014 16:08 | Good spot and thanks for the post, should be good news.... Note the decent volume today..... | chrisdgb
28/1/2014 15:52 | Extract from the CRST results: "Another landmark this year was seeing homeowners move into our five AIMC4 homes, which we have delivered through our participation in the AIMC4 consortium - a unique research project supported by the UK Government's Technology Strategy Board." Here is a photonstar link from the early days of the project. Good to see the homes built. hxxp://www.itdoesthe | gwr7
28/1/2014 15:38 | Excellent results from Crest Nicholson today. GWR7 24 Mar'13 - 13:41 - 440 of 630 2 0 edit Just read the posts around the time the contract with the major housebuilder was announced on 20th September I'm surprised there was no speculation on the identity of the company concerned. I'm 100% confident it's Crest Nicholson. The figure of 1500 completions fits and they are definitely using photonstar products. hxxp://www.crestnich They recently returned to the main market via an IPO, are going great guns and plan to grow to 2500 completions a year in 3-4 years. They focus on sustainability and design, are a quality outfit and have a total land bank of nearly 30000 units, mainly in the south-east, which they plan to grow. hxxp://www.crestnich Thought this may be of interest to holders. | gwr7

16/1/2014 10:36 | There's no real problem in being loss making if their prospects are picking up - that's what we need to see - some good revenue jumps. Plenty of other loss-makers move into profit and then everyone gets their second lot of excitement. ie. one lot early on based on not a lot and then another when profits do appear. | yump |
