23/6/2024 08:47 | Schaumburg - I googled this Ron and I still don't get it 🤷🏻 | unastubbs
23/6/2024 08:35 | Did anyone find out about the price jump? I’ve found nothing and it’s very similar to Aviva’s jump last November. Could it be jolly japes by traders, or can the city really keep Schaumburg when there’s something going on? It doesn’t add up, if there’s something happening without news then it’s very naughty. Thing is if it was jolly japes that is a significant volume that moved. | rongetsrich
22/6/2024 22:30 | I'm buying IUIT.spud | spud
22/6/2024 21:28 | NVDA is not stupidly priced given its explosive growth rates | williamcooper104
22/6/2024 19:59 | Or they're fairly priced and the US is just a much better place for listing massively growing tech companies. | cyberbub
22/6/2024 18:20 | Or the Apple and Nvidia is grossly overpriced. | mcunliffe1
22/6/2024 15:25 | Dope007 - agreed, when an Apple or an Nvidia is worth more than the entire FTSE 100 (including top Pharmas, Banks & Oil majors) it would appear the UK market is ever so slightly undervalued. IMHO of course ! | mister md
22/6/2024 14:32 | In the absence of any firm news in the run up to the election BOE rate decisions the little bit of action on Friday might just have put a temporary base under the share prices. Me I am still disinclined to buy but neither am I encouraged to sell any further holdings. I will remain in situ applying salve when necessary and ignoring the inanity of the markets and the CEO officers who should really know better.. A 10.3 % return suffices for me Enjoy the rest of the weekend | jubberjim
22/6/2024 13:00 | I think there were a few tweets before then - again no source | williamcooper104
22/6/2024 12:05 | 6 million volume on a £5 share doesn't happen because of tweet imho | dope007
22/6/2024 11:44 | Good advice would be to ignore all these Twitter stockmarket "experts" and take everything they say with a very large pinch of salt. Twitter (X) is full of 'em.. Isn't it interesting how they announce to the world what trades they are doing with an attempt to "prove" just how great they are at trading.. | cfro
22/6/2024 10:13 | He tweeted 15.29 slightly after the spike looking at the charts so wasn't the root cause | grinley boy
22/6/2024 07:59 | It again exemplifies the state of the UK market and how ridiculously undervalued most of it is and why this country owns very little anymore | dope007
22/6/2024 07:09 | Yep he says his source is Bloomberg but no one else seems to be able to find it Of course have long said that PHNX is likely to get taken out (And equally have long been wrong :) | williamcooper104
22/6/2024 07:01 | the thinking 🤔🤔 @baroninvestment at 15.29 yday after an initial spike pushed the share price further on. Suggest this will float back down to earth on Monday. | unastubbs
21/6/2024 23:13 | Skinny thanks. So it looks like today was indeed an options expiry date. Whether that has/had any relevance to PHNX who knows. | cyberbub
21/6/2024 21:29 | Where did you read that? | rongetsrich
21/6/2024 21:02 | Seems like it was just one of those blip things . No specific single reason | netcurtains
21/6/2024 18:58 | 6M volume vs 1.2M average. Company need to be honest and not hide approaches, which I suspect they may be. | justiceforthemany
21/6/2024 18:52 | Just a reaction to the positive write up in IC perhaps? Follow up mention in Money Week today. | lord gnome
21/6/2024 18:33 | I seem to remember that the last big jump was on a Friday afternoon too? Is there some sort of periodic 'witching' day in the insurance markets, like there is in US stocks?Although TBF we've closed lower than the last Friday spike, and we have some way to go to break out of the multi-year down channel... So I'm not counting my chickens yet... But I am counting my 10% divi... | cyberbub
21/6/2024 18:08 | Algos went into overdrive at 1522. Scary how quickly it shot up in just 60 seconds. All algo trades. Have a look. Of course the market is manipulated. Could easily have shot down 4%. On no news. | justiceforthemany |
