From Crest Nicholson today -

"However, the Board has carefully considered this week's rapidly evolving Government guidance in respect of COVID-19 and expects this to have a significant impact on visitor levels, production capability and trading performance over an unclear timeline. Accordingly, the Company has taken the difficult decision to cancel its final dividend of 21.8 pence per share, otherwise payable on 9 April 2020. Resolution 2 will therefore be withdrawn from next week's AGM.

In addition, the Company also announces that it is suspending all existing financial guidance until both the severity and duration of the COVID-19 impact becomes clearer."

Owenski: There are always pros and cons. Personally the voice of someone who promotes fear pessimism for their own financial gain is not a credible source.
To follow the opinon of someone with ulterior motive is not a good practice in any walk of life, be it financial or otherwise.
A parasite can only exist by having receptive hosts!!!
That goes for CV and shorters.

Best thing ever if their land bank is revalued at £10,000 a plot in the south.

Shareholders took far to much

Greed

Maybe 1crack is a parasitic shorter, but I say good for him, he does say what I'm thinking, viewings and therefore sales are going to dry up for at least the next quarter, plus, the economic fallout is yet to be ascertained, if more people end up redundant PSN's markets will be depressed.

Not really. I only short parasitic companies like this one. Deserves to go bust. Cannot stand the way they have parasited so much money from british tax payer. And i say this as someone with no mortgage. Happy to see houses lose 50pc from here

Psn having 1000s people pull out of sales. You need to price in 70k loss per house for the next 5 years plus addition for lack of sales. Downgrading their land etc.

Help to Buy a flawed scheme, all it did was enable people to buy more houses and rent them out, all these schemes have weak conditions and loopholes that are easily exploited, anyone with more than one house through HTB. should have them confiscated immediately, and placed in a watertight GOVT. programme that looks after the tenants and the people who required this scheme in the first place. I believe in capitalism, but the house builders, and admittedly the shareholders have done very well out of these programmes!

Help to sell scheme will soon be pulled by government now, expensive waste of time, hardly likely to keep propping up builders, this is fxxcked.

Plus a shoddy cheap product and service.

Should have been struck off the stock market for that alone

Your customer base has gone

World debt, and 4-8 times over valuation of your product.

Plus shareholder greed.

House builders being priced at 2007/8 housing crash, these could literally be back to 2-4 quid with dividend suspended, uk housing always the first to crumble at front end of recession, three years of self harming brexit fiasco and now this virus, uk doomed.
