Yes. I don't believe they were just incompetent. I am more inclined to think there was a plan behind it. Even if it cost them financially.

Andre - they delayed PCIP having the cash to move into COntinental Europe, and some might believe that they've used this period and the disclosures it requires to have a very close look at PCIP's technology (see announcement earlier this year re breaches of NDAs).

Wonder why we haven't heard anything about the pre-trial in the US? any chance the judge there was waiting for the UK decision given there will be a large read across from one to the other?

Looks like a re-rating rise now.

Inevitable and great news. Refused the appeal because it was based on being bad losers with no standing in law. They must be feeling stupid over there. What did they achieve? A distraction for PCI?

We know now that it went well with more details to come. Another jump in the share price to come after this announcement.

Anyone picking up any news about how the court hearing went today?

Yep. Presumably it should be relatively quick? Hopefully not more than 1 day.

Then we have the 3 week wait before Sycurio's window for an appeal times out

Today's AGM statement shows progress since the final results statement a month ago.

"...its new strategic partnership with Zoom on 13 November 2023. The new partnership will be at launch stage in early 2024 and is already contributing to the Group's sales pipeline."

"...a new agent desktop user interface which also leverages new payment capabilities provided through the Company's technology partnership with Stripe."

Thanks ppmm. Not someone I follow as not a chartist.

Fundamentals/news could obviously make that target irrelevant

PCIP featured in Zac Mir's daily charting review this morning. He reckons 56p by end of Dec, As often as not his reviewed stock hit target pretty quickly. 56p a reasonable start before the proper re rating I'm expecting

Hi Andre

I look at volume on days like this too, and tend to dismiss things where the volume isnt high. Today is 2x the average volume over the last 200 days so not trivial from that perspective, but not huge in £ terms given the mkt cap.

Obvious thing could be someone knowing something about the markman case I guess. The UK court case is the 18th so cant see it being about anything over here.

A bit of a jump today. Any thoughts? Not a lot of trading to do it.

Hi Simon

I stopped engaging with anything political in online forums like this a year or two ago for somewhat similar reasons - easy to get drawn into spats, which are never going to achieve anything. Just a huge time drain.

In terms of financial/business stuff, I limit myself to advfn and filter any idiots. Similarly with Sports - I'm a Spurs fan and limit myself to one forum, filtering idiots and also told my laptop to not remember my password, which adds an extra hurdle to me logging in. Again, participating in those won't achieve anything - at least participating here might aid my financial wealth!
All the best and don't be a complete stranger!

Sorry to hear that Simon, I have been dependent on your expertise and knowledge on PCIP. I read a book at week at least! Love it. Enjoy your LUFC loyalty!

I won't be posting as much in future. Three weeks ago I started Infra-Low Neurofeedback treatment for a three-decade-long chronic health condition. When I started treatment I stopped reading and thinking about political news and now realise I should minimise consumption of business news and price action.

The main way to reduce my time on the internet is to go back to paper-based information - books.

This could aid the Neurofeedback treatment as I move into slow thinking, rather than clicking, searching, scrolling and fast thinking.

Good fortune!

Good point on Twitter:

MG - investor - 3/10/23

I know that some executives follow me on X - here is some advice:

It's always best to be direct about expectations. If it will be a slight miss/delay - SAY IT.

Investors see through this easily & trust will be lost going forward. You need us.

#PCIP #IHC - any others this year?

Thanks Simon

A lot of the stuff in that Lucretius post is actually entirely normal. I wouldnt read anything into much of that.

Looks like Sycurio might have settled with Connor Blier as his LinkedIn profile states he left in October 2023. When he was actually sacked in January 2023.
