...two pieces that are being put front and centre in the shop window are " mobile" and "acquiring" .......

....both of those might be v interesting to Apple's Asian based competitors ( Samsung, HTC, etc....)...combine PAYsafe technology ( and acquirer status and e-wallet and Risk management) with a mobile phone...and you can create a virtual bank in Asia pretty quick and relatively speaking cheaply.... ideal solution in a digital age to address the absence of bank accounts by many in Asia, billions of potential clients and the lack of infrastructure......massive potential future growth

....interesting possibility is that PAYS could be taken out as a defensive play against such a scenario by someone like Apple rather than letting Samsung get in there

I have a gut feeling that something may just be brewing.......

Apart from how well share price is performing and now into breakout territory ........I do notice a lot more articles being given by the wider management team and not just JL.... this I feel is not by accident.......

I agree the potential is impressive here and there is no doubt whether they like it or not that PAYS is very much "in play" - I suspect they need to grow bigger quickly or they will be taken out by one of the even bigger boys.

Market cap is already pretty impressive though that they have fully integrated Skrill.

Interesting times - will not be reducing and I can see a £6.50 share price without too many concerns given current growth rates

UK companies are cheap and are take-over targets where they have IPR in an expanding market, PAYS fits that bill in spades and is certainly susceptible to an Asian bid - Asia of course is quite comfortable with gambling so they are unlikely to be applying the same discount that the UK markets have applied to date......PAYS offers the likes of Alibaba some v interesting angles

If PAYS manages to stay independent then I can see its share price doubling in the next 12 months.......if we last that long and we don't receive an opportunistic bid in the interim for 650p+

mip55: I always opt out myself and regularly check in at youronlinechoices.com to ensure the opt out cookies are topped up but so long as the punters don't and it's revenue enhancing then who am I to be the party pooper?

Keyno - I wouldn't give you an argument about that, but it's an art that's been transposed into a science with the development and deployment of software designed to exploit the advertising and is clearly revenue enhancing so it should be another arrow in PAYS quiver!

Vetpeter..... From the Income Access site :From the very beginning, our mission was to bring a turnkey affiliate marketing solution to the iGaming industry. Today, more than 200 individual gaming affiliate programmes are powered by our affiliate tracking solution. We work with European brands including Bet Victor, Jackpot Joy and Sky Betting & Gaming as well as US brands like Caesars Interactive, TwinSpires and BetAmerica. We create comprehensive solutions by putting the needs of our partners first.Affiliate tracking basically involves putting cookies onto consumers / customers computers once they go onto various websites. They can generate income from direct targeting advertising using click through adverts as well as providing the host website ( at a cost) with a simplified log in process. In a nutshell then Income Access provides software for its igaming partners which pay for its services and allow the website to maximise revenue from both external advertisers and links to its own internal other offerings which the cookies consider may be of interest to the individual consumer.Hope that helps.

Digital payment solutions provider Paysafe Group Plc (LSE:PAYS), which operates the NETELLER and Skrill online payment brands, has announced that it is acquiring Montreal, Canada based affiliate technology provider Income Access Group.

Paysafe will be paying cash consideration of CAD $40 million (approximately USD $30 million), part of which is deferred over an 18 month period.

Income Access is a market-leading brand providing innovative affiliate technology for businesses to manage their performance marketing programs. More than 25,000 affiliates use the company’s multi-channel software for their marketing campaigns.

Income Access was founded in 2002 and is based in Montreal with employees in Vancouver, London and Brisbane.

Commenting on today’s announcement, Income Access Founder and CEO Nicky Senyard said:

Our technology and global affiliate network, combined with Paysafe’s comprehensive payments offering, creates a winning combination for the benefit of our existing and new partners.

Senyard will apparently remain with the business as Managing Director.

Paysafe President and CEO Joel Leonoff said:

By adding Income Access’s affiliate technology to our product suite alongside our Skrill and NETELLER brands and deepening our merchant relationships, this transaction delivers on Paysafe’s strategic objectives to provide relevant payment solutions that serve the evolving needs of our merchants.

Income Access is an excellent fit for our business. This acquisition will help to extend our leadership position in niche-orientated payment solutions as we add value for our merchants and redefine the role of a payments provider.

Lorenzo Pellegrino, divisional CEO at Paysafe and responsible for the Group’s flagship Skrill and NETELLER brands, said:

We are always looking to enhance the breadth of our product offering. By integrating Income Access’s industry-leading expertise within our business, we both expand our global affiliate network and embed our payment capabilities more deeply into the merchants we work with.

Transaction structure

Subsidiaries of Paysafe have acquired the Income Access business from EcomAccess, IA Digital Marketing and their shareholders as well as certain software and related intellectual property from Share Results, a company owned by the shareholders of Income Access, for an aggregate consideration of CAD$40m. CAD$28m of the purchase price is payable in cash on completion. The deferred consideration balance of CAD$12m will be payable to the vendors in three equal instalments of CAD$4m over the 18-month period following completion.

The book value of gross assets acquired is approximately CAD$2m. The excess of the purchase price is expected to be allocated to software, customer assets and goodwill. The fair value assessment of the acquired assets has not yet been finalised as of the date of this release. In the last fiscal year to 31 March 2016 of Income Access, the business generated approximately CAD$3.3m of profit before income taxes.

Paysafe was advised by Canaccord Genuity and Stikeman Elliott LLP. Income Access was advised by PWC and Norton Rose Fulbright LLP.

AEK must be regretting taking such a big short position right now - wonder if any of that large late trade yesterday relates to closing out of that short - would explain the significant rise on a $30m acquisition...hmmmm

if so expect another 5% rise to close it out fully - nice little short squeeze

I think the real benefit of this long term will be increased knowledge around customer - betting habits, preferences, risk mitigation awareness....... all of the increased customer knowledge will make PAYS more nimble and at the cutting edge meaning it will be the partner of choice ......given how rapidly this market is developing this will keep PAYS front and centre as the preferred provider of services to new launches.

this acquisition whilst not a bit outlay looks to be a very smart long term strategic move !!

Looks like we are onwards and upwards on the share price off the back of it and hopefully with more news to come shortly !!!
