31/8/2016 13:31 | @longwell - have a look at the Edison report - there are a few PE held competitors in there that might be looking for a liquidity event and PAYS is the perfect route for them - they could be satisfied with a small piece of cash and the majority in shares with a 12 month lock-in; this gives the PE firm the best of both worlds the partners are able to say they have had a liquidity event and can now draw their 20% performance fee but the investment is still tied into a growing market for at least another 12 months. GLA P.S. The very low forward PE ratio that PAYS sits on currently will also be of help in terms of not having to give away too much equity for the acquisition - whereas the combined group on a much higher PE ( due to diversification) will be a large part of the financial sense of any deal for all parties. | wolfhound1
31/8/2016 10:17 | Canaccord price target upgraded to 508p | eh9
31/8/2016 08:03 | Trump wins?We are doomed Mr Mainwaring, doomed!Keep calm, Soldier onRegardless. | aspex
31/8/2016 07:48 | who is in the frame next ?, would like to see more diversification to underpin any share price sustained growth before legitamisation in America. if as expected trump wins , will happen sooner than later. | longwell
30/8/2016 16:04 | I suspect Lorenzo Pellegrino (CEO digital wallets) is in California for the launch of the new "order ahead" digital wallet judging by Twitter | eh9
30/8/2016 16:00 | Edison are setting the bar very low - both PAYS and the industry have been growing and are projected to grow by 30% p.a. - so forward PE are closer to 7/8% then the 11% in their report..... SP will easily outstrip as will cash projections...all before acquisitions !!! GLA | wolfhound1
30/8/2016 14:30 | Thanks Iomax99 - I find the Edison reports very useful. A couple of points that caught me in particular. 1) On the assumption that there are no acquisitions (I know this is unlikely), they forecast a net cash position of $213M at the end of 2018 - and this is a conservative estimate. PAYS is a cash machine! 2) The company still trades on a significant discount to its peer group on all valuation metrics. They say that some discount is merited to reflect the high exposure to one gambling merchant, this exposure is expected to decrease over time as the company grows the remainder of its business at a faster rate. Happy holder! | melf
30/8/2016 13:19 | An updated Edison Research note is available here: They note that their revenue forecasts are relatively conservative compared to recent underlying growth. | lomax99
29/8/2016 10:17 | Thank aspex. I wasn't looking back as far as the Neteller days. | pshevlin
27/8/2016 07:54 | pshelvin,Neteller reached 800p about 2006/7 (I had some at 327 and 590)then fell to below 40p( bought a lot more at 55p in 2010) and bought at least 5 times more between 75 and 300.Put my interest down to holding after that original purchase. Those who have been here for a long time can recall the NY court using dubious law to fine them $186m that initialised the original fall. Incidentally my current holding is 150x the first purchase and average price of buys is 195p so I am happy to hold for another year or three. | aspex
26/8/2016 23:36 | I think acqn q3 is covered in the prelims conference call... | eh9 |
