Stoopid. Pay is slowly drip drip drip back down , only a mug would want to buy now and accumulate - reason next week will be cheaper . No announcement result date , any day longer than a two weeks , PAY will test the Low of £3.80. The only saving grace on pAy is the Low volume.

China is another good place to start. China has cut its prime lending rate . Uk should align with China and not let US ( Big Brother) always tell Uk what to do

It's all down to those Yanks. Each time we make some progress on our shares, along comes America with it's 'interest rates' and hammers us. We should dump the Yanks and align with any other country on the planet, New Zealand would be a good place to start.

I agree it is a worry but the price is hardly "cratering" and hopefully it's nothing other than a minor accounting blip that will be resolved when the accounts are published. The news comming out of the company has been entirely positive for the last 18 months. Growing and transforming business model, increasing revenues, recovering profit, growing and expanding the business, well covered divi etc etc. The P/E ratio is what, 7ish? 145m revenues with profits of 50m(forecast to grow) vs market cap of 320m, with revenues (and profits from Appreciate group of 40m to 80m) not even factored in yet. Barring any unforseen accounting issues or downright fraud, and this is where the worry and possible pitfall lies, I believe the share price will rise steadily back towards 600 and over. How is that 4.50 no brainer short going today btw Stephen??

It is a worry

Share price cratering

Reassuring statement put out share price stages recovery a little then problem with accounts reconciliation and off we go again.

The only certainty with this share is that it is very thinly traded by a few risk loving miscreants

No depth and no volume

Your risk !

Pettrencf. Accounting Treatment of Appreciate by KPMG can
mean a number of things that could affect the PAY bottom line figure ( Profit or loss). How PAY management treats some big items of Appreciate either to bring these items to P & l or to the Balance Sheet . Doesn’t sound good mate

Scepticalinvestor. I am no simp.

I am just tell the fact of PAYPOINT SHARES PRICE at this current time .
No brainer to see PAY management has created UNCERTAINTY to the Company even 3 months ago , the preliminary result excluding Appreciate was Good .

"The delay is due to a technical accounting treatment relating to the balance sheet of the Appreciate Group (“Appreciate”) at acquisition and at year end." I does not sound like it has anything to do with due diligence or profit.

One thing everyone must know is
MARKET DOES NOT LIKE THE WIRD UNCERTAINTY .
The long awaited result gives the shorters a great opportunity to move the share price down , which investors would dare to buy more to accumulate (not many - no one wants to buy more unless they are sure , many investors have already accumulated 2 months ago.
Although volume is Low , most of the shares. Volume is SELL not BUY , NO ONE WANTS TO BUY NOW WHEN LATER ON OR TOMORROW OR NEXT WEEK WILL BE MUCH LOWER , just no brainer

It's moving 5% on low volume trading, only 68k shares traded, approx 0.1% of the shares for goodness sake and exacerbated by the general fall in the FTSE. Can't see the bid/offer on Lvl2 though..Yesterday, PAY reiterated its full year results were good and confirmed all aspects of business are going well. It's the auditing of Appreciate Group that appears to be the issue. So, could be anything? Due diligence not done correctly and profits at appreciate not as good as expected? Business not as good as first thought? Who knows? We will have to wait.

Scepticalinvestors - see. No need to wait too long for under £4.50. Started the South bound - all the way down till we know the long awaited result date - 😞 sad 😞 😞
Those investors think is a bargain - opportunity to accumulate more . Those who have sold , can buy back much much cheaper - GOOD LUCK
