The Group anticipates that profit before tax for the financial year ended 31 March 2023 will be at the top end of the range of market expectationsTrading has been positive early in the first quarter of FY24, and we look forward to updating the market further at our preliminary results for the year ended 31 March 2023 on 6 July 2023.

The question now is - if Paypoint share price was undervalued at the current price ,why no approach or takeover by any Company but major shareholders buying just to add .
The reason I guess now and until the release of the F/Y result including Appreciate trading on 6 July , will give a clearly indication to other Companies to consider a takeover approach .
Therefore , Share Price will still drip and drip till the announcement date.
Already the last month , the sellers tested the confident uncertainty issue with low daily trading volume and able to manipulate the Share price down daily . This destroy Shareholders confidence and Company Share Price in the meantime which may or maybe recover

I’m worried about it, this drop doesnt have the right feel about it. Was going to take my next bite between 380-89 but glad i held on. Now setting my sights lower and may not add any more.

cheap as chips now IMV. latest guidance is for profits at the top end of the range. it's a pretty stable, cash generative business.

most takeovers destroy value, but the share price has already fallen so much as to render that irrelevant. i think that appreciate group will strengthen the business significantly, it's all about ensuring regular use of paypoints.

none of the comments here are referring to business performance, it's all fixating on the share price. on any medium term outlook it's great value at this level now. amidst all this, the major shareholder has just increased their stake further.....!

Patience is a virtue, but one has to include opportunity cost loss on the debit side.

As for medium to long term gains, the share price has to damn near double before I see a capital profit. The dividend improves the total return picture, but having topped up at 458 in the belief that PAY could not go much lower (a triumph of hope over experience), I shall not make that mistake again. If I ever do buy more, it will be when (I should I fear say 'if') PAY demonstrates a clear, sustained, uptrend.

Patience is a virtue. If you are only interested in short term trading gains then PAY is definitely not that kind of share.

This is a buy and hold share for decent medium to long term gains and in the meantime collect a decent dividend.

As such, I hold PAY in my SIPP rather than trading accounts.

I nibbled yesterday or day before, I thought it had bottomed out. I've only managed to add to my misery here. Tempted to open a short now that it might be too late.

75k have been traded today. Hardly everybody. P/E is around 7 right now, it should be the bottom... Difficult times, no buyers left, a big seller can kill the share price

Updates were good lately. Largest holder increased its stake, shorts left (probabily), CEO bought for 100k in december, Appreciate is on board now.

Paypoint agreed to settle £12.5 m with Ofgem but on 29 May 2023 , a firm of Solicitors representing a small group handed ‘ Paper before Action’ Ie before any Court Action on the case but Paypoint objecting to it and this shouldn’t affect the share price relentless drop .

Or, maybe nothing wrong and market manipulation in a thin market. Also, as pointed out, the ofgem ruling is still being challenged.....

SP DROPS IS RELENTLESS since 20 April after the RNS update (almost 7 weeks) - just unbelievable and concerning .
Never seen a counter in my 40 years of shares dealing that announced a fairly good update reacted this way . Not even a small rebound , just constant descending 😔 😔
