If an Auditor unwilling to sign off the Account , there must be something no right ( FISHY) in Appreviate , until this saga is resolved , PAY will be just one direction - SOUTH. Now we know why last 2 months , PAY kept on drip drip drip down to about £3.70 and obviously some inside knew that Appreciate’s Balance Sheet could not be properly verified and certified.

sxtract

PayPoint Plc announces that its auditors, KPMG, have informed them that they
are unable to complete the work necessary for PayPoint Plc to release its
Preliminary Results for FY23 on Thursday 6 July 2023. The delay is due to a
technical accounting treatment relating to the balance sheet of the Appreciate
Group (“Appreciate”) at acquisition and at year end, which is still in the
process of being reviewed.

A profit is a profit

As I said first intimation that a sell order is in the market the bids disappear

Similarly a bid sends the market the other way have left my sell offer and the market can do its damnedest

No guts no glory

America shut today I m off to lunch

Good luck holders

Happy

Picked a few not many back at beginning of June around 385

Was a pure punt

Why it's taken so long to climb back here I don t know but I do think not being widely traded makes it difficult to get a decent price.

Have left my sell order again but doesn t take much to throw a scare into the erstwhile investors so looking forward to Thursday when I hope to get taken out especially with the comments from few weeks ago.
Nice to be on the right side for once.

Good luck holders

Still think it will be a while before PAY hits 6 again. Could be back to 800+ if historical performance is anything to go by...Results and forward projections on Thurs will be key, obviously.

If you look historically back at when Paypoint revenues and were 200m+ and profits were 50m+ most years the share price was 800 to 1000. Apart from a small dilution because of the purchase of Appreciate Group the number of shares hasn't much changed and the business has transformed itself.Since of the sale of the Romanian business the board have laser focused on building the UK business, buying up a number of businesses including Appreciate, Imovo and handepay. Revenues dropped with COVID and exiting Romania but if u look back at 2018 and 2019, when revenue's and profits were 200m+ and 50m+ the share price was over 1000 a share. I'm not saying it will get back there but the update on the 06th July could be good. And i will sit back and take my divis in the meantime.

Uk base rate now 5% NatWest is current paying 1 year fixed rate bond for savers 5.25% even before today half percentage interest rate rise without doing anything and no risk . Paypoint yield at today Share Price is 6% Bank interest will go up more this year - I don’t see value in Paypoint in the short term - SELl in my opinion .
