Oh Loverat, bless.

I come and try to help you all with PAA and you get all shirty. A typical trait of a clueless PI.

I said the b/s was in a desperate state and everyone got massively diluted by new equity. The same has been going on here for 14+ years.

I warned ages ago that there was little chance of signing a big new sponsor for The Championship and I was right.

I've pointed out time and again all the oh so easy to see red flags and you've ignored them all and watched your investment sink and sink.

My current educated guess is that they have problems funding their commitments to The Championship. I really can only guess but if they need more funds yet again my guess is at 30p as I've said before.

We still don't have any real idea what happened with Blackstone GC. The last minute switch to Laguna was really pretty extraordinary. One can only wonder what the relationship between PAA and the European Tour will be like if it was in any way PAA's fault that the venue had to be switched. Why don't you phone them up and ask?

If you're so successful with your penny dreadfuls why don't you start a thread that documents all your buys and sells as you make them? I think I know why!

By the way here's a list of all the ADVFN threads

It seems your idea that "Folks here follow AIM companies and particularly miners" is complete bunkum - just like pretty much everything you write on these boards....

Agreed - I think his investment profile is so different to everyone else here and he thinks those who do not invest in the same investments are losing money. The thing with people like that is that they miss out on so many opportunities through their narrow minded approach. No doubt he will disappear when this recovers and then reappear to claim the credit if this falls back.

He is not deramper in the traditional sense. I think it is all about self esteem.

Yes he disappeared over on HHR and on STY while the share went up from 10p to 25p - now he is back saying he was right all along - except short term traders would have made money on STY. It is only a loss if you sell and I am not selling here - the chairman only raised new funds back in December at 156p so that is my minimum target whether it takes 3 months or 3 years!

I honestly think Britishb does not hold any shares at all. I just had to tell him the type of investments and trading most ADVFN posters get involved with. He did not seem to know. He seems to think that this is a site for premium bond holders and British Gas shareholders. I think he resents people making money on smaller companies so gloats when they lose money.

He was over at STY again today claiming credit and banging on about preference shares. In between, this and his previous batch of posts some people bought at 4p in January and made a massive profit before selling out before the last announcement.

I think perhaps you are unaware of the market and stocks most posters on this site follow. They are not premium bond holders or FTSE 100 shareholders generally. Folks here follow AIM companies and particularly miners. Many of these stocks are at a historic lows and they are followed because you can make more money than other markets/investments at a higher risk.

The market you talk of has done well overall but AIM stocks are attractive because if you are good and research well you you can make 100% in a day as I did on one of my holdings today.

Hope that helps.

Gotta luv u PAA bulls.

Loverat "That must have been costly having to sell all shares in the market considering most are at historic lows". Errr...the UK market is pretty close to all time highs! Anyone with a brain has been absolutely minting it!

KN "I took the "opportunity" to top up at 95p as results are due soon and there has been no ACTUAL news to justify the drop". Errr..aaprt from PAA's most important event teeing off with no replacement for Ballantine's as the main sponsor!

No wonder that strange Mr Gove feels the need to change so much....

That must have been costly having to sell all shares in the market considering most are at historic lows. I have noticed lots of selling on many stocks which I think tells me people are feeling the pinch and becoming over extended. I think there is a huge debt crisis simmering below the surface. For those who can buy and hold for a while it should be interesting when the market does turn.

29howard thanks and I really appreciate you letting us know as I did wonder if the seller(s) posted here - if you don't mind me asking - were all the sells (7k) yours? I took the "opportunity" to top up at 95p as results are due soon and there has been no ACTUAL news to justify the drop.
Good luck with the house move and hopefully you might be able to trade the market again in the future - regards, Nigel

Yes well, people have been waiting for profits and cash to flow since the turn of the millenium MD...

What a beauty! It's called the "Effed every effing investor who put their hard-earned into it" chart formation!!!

And STILL they're bullish about this company that STILL only has ONE full time exec director who may well be quaffing something cold in Raffles as we speak!!!!

Incredibles!!!!!!!!!!

88p on the bid. Not good, but understandable given that shares in downward cycles encourage further selling (and small quantity trades impact the shareprice significantly)

Plenty of things going on here, but don't expect a re-rating until its generating the sales, profits & cash ...

So, Orvil, you think PAA sponsored the event in 2012 and (it very much looks like) they paid prize money...and this year they have sponsored the same event and...errr..aren't going to pay the prize money....errr..because they haven't told you.

Have I got that right? Chortle...

The tournament is officially The Championship at Laguna (, National) there are apparently lots of sponsors on the tv coverage, unfortunately I don't have access.

It is quite clear due to the sum involved that PAA would have had to announce that they were putting up the prize monies. I conclude, therefore that they are not.

Theses numbers will most likely be lower this year as prize fund reduced. You PAA bulls will have to make up yr own minds about whether, in the absence of a main sponsor to replace Ballantine's, this is a big deal. I know what I think!
