05/4/2014 11:29 | All I can say is that I am aware our chairman has been working his Butt off to make this company a success. The proof of the pudding seems to be in the waiting. | orvil
05/4/2014 11:03 | mm,well, lets see. unless theres something announced that's actually going to have an upward jump on the share price(which will surprise me more than a bit) then im afraid little will change my view, whether it will change little madams view on her post,i don't know. | ga123
05/4/2014 10:23 | ga123, I was thinking the same - perhaps orvil talked to the broker and got some information? The results s/b out in the next month or two and news on The Championship has to be in the works - even if it's bad news. Re Electric Run - I looked at the links and have to agree the potential is massive - in a few years time there could be 10+ runs in Asia and PPA could be making substantial revenue. Lets hope the company can update us on Electric Run AND the Live Nation tie-up soon as both offer long term potential and no company should have to depend on one significant source of revenue (The Championship) | knigel
05/4/2014 10:10 | why, whats going to happen by the end of next week? | ga123
04/4/2014 21:51 | Electric Run taking place in Busan on June 7th 2014 | cottoner
04/4/2014 21:46 | KNIGEL - something has to happen !? | orvil
04/4/2014 21:45 | Electric Run taking place in Seoul on May 10th 2014 | cottoner
04/4/2014 20:46 | Interesting... | knigel
04/4/2014 20:22 | Littlemadam you posted the following I really thought orvil was a good guy but, although I am sure he is genuine, he is way off the mark with this one. Sorry orvil. I trust that by the end of next week that you may be able alter the last few words of your observation. | orvil
04/4/2014 12:41 | anyone else averaging down besides Knige ? | buywell2
04/4/2014 12:36 | The Pru event is IMO tiny. The Championship, for PAA, is IMO huge. Let's not forget that we think it's possible/likely that sponsorship of the 2012 event (and possibly/probably 2013 as well) by Ballantine's was responsible for c. 69% of PAA's turnover. With 4 weeks to go it's my opinion that there's almost no chance of a significant new sponsor being announced, but obviously I might be totally wrong. As I've said before, with no big sponsor there's the potential(!!!) for PAA to have very serious problems finding enough cash to pay prize money and gawd knows what else. Nobody really knows what's going on (except PAA and the European Tour, so why don't the bulls phone them???) but all I know is if I was holding these I most certainly wouldn't be "chillax". Good luck to you all! | britishb
04/4/2014 12:28 | ga123 - the sponsor is not for the Championship (The largest event they run), it's for a new tournament they setup last year. That news is still pending and fingers crossed imminent - in the grand scheme of things, it's the most important announcement we are waiting for that has not yet been released | dusseldorf
04/4/2014 11:50 | I am my usual chillax self. | knigel
04/4/2014 11:06 | haven't they announced a sponsor? | ga123
04/4/2014 10:52 | Well KN. Didn't you say a while back that you'd be nervous if there was no sponsor for The Championship announced with a month to go? So, are you nervous with it teeing off in just 4 weeks? Or not at all nervous given that you averaged down yesterday? | britishb
03/4/2014 18:56 | the spread is always pathetic with this share, doesnt help.lets see if the price moves up in a couple of months then, the problem is,by then it could be so low that even doubling will be no great advantage to many. | ga123
03/4/2014 18:30 | By the way, look at the AIM market in general.. countless shares sitting on oversold cheap (imo) valuations... perhaps the new tax year next week MIGHT start some interest in the AIM market? However it is not just PAA suffering at the moment.. | knigel
03/4/2014 18:28 | ga123, two points. It's the first RNS news this year so sorry if your fellow shareholders have woken up here to discuss it. Also what do you expect? No company can make a share price move! Director buys might help but the company is in a closed period until the final results are released in the next 1-2 months... There were actually more buys than sells today... there has been more buys than sells over the last few weeks... so perhaps ask the market makers why THEY have not moved the share price back off the floor !!! | knigel
03/4/2014 16:39 | here we go again chaps.......the usual burst of excitement, while ur doing that, take a glance at the share price, the "news" has obviously impressed the market...not. | ga123
03/4/2014 16:37 | promoting golf is fine, but until theres some "news" that's going to result in profits from events,i realy don't see how yet again people on here post as if its all good, ffs take a look at the share price, its real, fact, when,oh when,is it ever going to recover. | ga123
03/4/2014 16:11 | orvil, some just like posting their insecurities and gloom on here - glad I'm not a shorter but an INVESTOR | knigel
03/4/2014 16:08 | Your point about crowds seems irrelevant when entrance is free and the aim is to promote golf in the region. | orvil
03/4/2014 16:06 | Looking back over the last few years, there have been periods of 3-4 months without news then several RNSs within a month. So hopefully this RNS will be the first one of 2-4 RNSs this month. Decided to add 400 this afternoon... buywell2 - very busy with the year end so not have much time to spend on here or research in depth but appreciate the work others do here gla | knigel
03/4/2014 15:58 | Dusseldorf: "As part of the tournament's commitment to promoting golf in the region, entry will be free to members of the public, for all three days of the competition at Laguna National Golf & Country Club." from one of the articles I found | mister md
03/4/2014 15:24 | did you know that Knige ? | buywell2 |
