Wouldn't disagree with that. That said I do think paa could have an extraordinary year.

Not been here as long as you Chris but also sold out today .. enough is enough..
the trouble with most AIM or small cap investors - myself included - is that we cling on to "hope" .. for things to get better or recover.. sometimes they do and sometimes they do not..
However we got the impression PAA was going to make an acquisition at the end of 2016 and it did not happen and no decent update today .. and that's before the shocking write downs and now 5% interest on the loans!
Sad to say but PAA life support may be switched off sooner rather than later now and I am not going to hold any more - better opportunities out there...
Will continue to monitor Just in case BrickLive or similar happens but how?
GLA remaining holders and fair play to Eezy for calling this right

My 9 year relationship with PAA is over..........needless to say the loss is substantial.

PAA - bit of blue. Not many trading days left the quarter. Show me a Bricklive acquisition and I will show you £2 plus a share

We know DC now owns Brick Live. Brick Live is supported/sponsored by Lego, Warner, ToysRUs and others (it's on the website). PAA have stated they want to move into the live event space. DC and the other directors also own another music live event company. An "interestingly" worded no known reason RNS has been released. Though it could happen it's unlikely another will be forthcoming. The free float is incredibly small and much is tightly held. News aside market mechanics will squeeze this to new highs over the coming sessions. Not an ill considered ramp, simply the facts. GLA

Ouch "there have been no material developments since that time."

Parallel Media Group Plc (AIM: PAA) notes the recent share price rise. On 30th December 2016 PMG released an update statement including the comment that it was reviewing acquisition prospects which will enable PMG in 2017 to confirm opportunities in the live event and entertainment sector. Whilst the Group continues to review acquisition prospects there have been no material developments since that time.

Dear oh dear, KN.

Let's get away from all your FITB posts that don't quite add up then, and back to PAA.

Why do you think the major shareholder (other than the chairman) has dumped so may shares while the market cap is "so low"? I fear once they're out the Twitterati will ramp this to high heaven. Perhaps you'll have a lucky escape. On the other hand if they haven't updated on said "acquisition" the loons may all dump and PAA will be closer to it's current true value of zero (IMO!).

I see Heavycon got cancelled. DC resigned from the heavycon LTD company. Heavy bar ltd has been renamed: PARALLEL LIVE LIMITED. Parallel Media Championship is soon to be struck off (22nd Jan) after 1st Gazette. DC doing well!

4 weeks left for an acquisition to be announced as per summer results RNS. Heavycon coming back with Insomnia60 (61?) next year as a combined event. Perhaps this live event is what is being acquired by PAA, but who knows.

I hope the guys still holding out on DC have got used to disappointment(!)

Found this:

Basically says:
The organiser of Insomnia60 have now issued the following statement: “Parallel Contemporary Music Ltd. will amalgamate elements of Heavycon in to the Insomnia60 gaming festival taking place over Easter 2017. As part of a partnership with Multiplay, rock fans will still experience the Vinyl Village, Rock stars sports cars, the Play Music Live sessions and more but will now also get to experience the thrill of Insomnia, the UK’s largest gaming festival. Insomnia features a huge line-up of gaming tournaments, main stage entertainment, a major retail exhibition and a whole host of gaming related zones and activities for all types of gamer, including both novice and professional, of any age.”

The article goes on to highlight various annoyed vendors. DC strikes again! I assume this new event will be what PAA is acquiring alongside bricklive perhaps.
