Not abnormally high. e.g. from Investopedia: "Bank of America's D/E ratio for the three months ending March 31, 2019, was 0.96. In March 2009, during the financial crisis, the ratio reached 2.65, according to Macrotrends."

However, be aware that the securitisation model they use will take debt off balance sheet and reduce gearing.

I agree TD - if there is a financial implosion PAG is well protected against the problems it had last time and its quality of business remains exemplary so divi should be sustainable

Over 5% yield if 21p divi is held, and 40% upside to get to the 550 highs of last summer. These are starting to look quite interesting to me at this level and below.

Downgrade by some broker. I tend to ignore them so don't see it as a major negative as they have poor track record of predicting future share price

these will be toast if Corbyn gets in and enacts his rental and land tax reforms, and being a fairly illiquid stock an exit will not be very easy

Interesting to see the market's reaction to leaks about the impending retirement of John Heron - £75m off the MV! At least i assume that was what caused the sell-off!

Would there be the same reaction if Mr Terrington were to announce his retirement?????
