Opinion: If I were the NOMAD, part of whose duty is to follow up companies' most recent RNSs to see if there has been any material "new news" since publication, and I became aware of a sidetrack, IMHO that would trigger a fresh RNS. In my view, a sidetrack would be "material news" in the context of a time-limited drilling season.

Therefore, whilst naturally I cannot be definitive, my experience would strongly suggest the *absence* of a "sidetrack RNS" indicates that actual operations on the ground *have not* diverted from the course of events described in the most recent RNS. QED - the remediation *has* worked and then they're moving on to stimulating and flow testing the BFF Lower at Theta West, the Big Kahuna.

IMO, I reckon we'll hear about the SMD at Talitha #A before we hear anything further from Theta West.

Agreed I dont see drilling out cement is a RNS even we are likely to get flow news on SMD first with potential Theta West tagged in that RNS IMHO

There is no delayed news. We were told the issue was expected to be remedied over the course of last week before commencing flow testing. They did not say anything to suggest another announcement would be made to confirm if the work was successful. If it wasn't successful then that news would warrant an RNS.

I think that was a sensible move. From my experience delayed news is rarely good although I would probably expect to see an RNS saying that they had solved the problem and were getting on with the testing.

I have taken PANR profits for now, just left a small residual holding which will act as an "averge down" tool if I buy back in higher if there is good news.

I am positive on the SMD flow tests, but concerned about Theta West. Given the big prize is Theta West then even if good news from SMD is used to camaflage problems at Theta West, not sure the market would be positive.

And there remains the risk - has the remedial work at Theta West been successful ? or not ?

Fingers crossed its good news coming !!

I have to say that when the Guild thread was operating, this board was as calm as the
local millpond.

Hopefully it will return to such ways.

Hopefully, the sudden drop in the share price at 12pm does not reflect any news from the camp.
