04/3/2022 16:32 | Large 1.4mln trade on the OTC earlier. £120.60 close | sirmark
04/3/2022 16:26 | Nice push on for the close will be good. .... We rebounded well from £1.05 close £1.20 from £1.37 no so bad considering the wider backdrop. O'well on wards and upwards to testing the mighty TH. Have a good weekend all. | sirmark
04/3/2022 16:17 | It only undermines (one’s own) confidence if you set yourself expectations that there wouldn’t be operational issues. There are nearly always operational issues working in the inhospitable environment. Be prepared, accept it, and move onto the fact that fundamentally, nothing has changed in the investment thesis as far as I can see. Have a great weekend all. | probabilityofsuccess
04/3/2022 15:38 | Anyone else suspect the 2pm -ish turn-around in share price might be due to Yanks taking advantage of Limeys' insecurity and lack of understanding regarding the significance of; " Talitha #A - Flow Testing the Basin Floor Fan The Company is pleased to announce that testing operations have now been completed on the Lower Basin Floor Fan ("BFF"), a Brookian aged horizon. Three separate 10 feet ("ft") intervals were perforated over 370 ft out of 600 ft of gross section, at 9405 to 9415 ft, 9205 to 9215 ft and 9045 to 9055 ft. These three intervals were individually stimulated and flow tested, producing high quality c. 35 to 39 degree API oil and averaging 73 barrels of oil per day ("BOPD") over a three day test period. On the final day of testing, the well was flowing at a sustained rate of approximately 40 BOPD. Encouragingly, the bottom hole pressure is near to the reservoir pressure, thus providing an indication of the production potential of this portion of the oil accumulation, which is at the distal limits of the field. Future development wells would all be drilled horizontally and stimulated with multiple stage fracs, meaning that flow rates are expected to be many times higher." | fordtin
04/3/2022 15:33 | Had a little buy again after the panic, also have recouped most of today's losses with a punt on another share. | madd_rip
04/3/2022 15:33 | Nice bear squeeze. I fear it will fall back some from here, but indicates how difficult it can be 'playing' the price. | forwood
04/3/2022 15:30 | Admittedly I'm invested here until the BOD sells but I still can't see what was in this morning's RNS to make people so jittery. I really can't. Mind you, I'm not a day trader so perhaps don't understand their mentality but today Pantheon is in the strongest position it's ever been in whilst in Alaska. I guess Ukraine and the global stock market falls is also to play but really, people need to get real when these RNS's pop out. The expectation seems to be that each RNS is either wonderful or woeful when most are just updates on progress - and there has been progress since the last RNS. | rideacockhorse
04/3/2022 15:18 | Sense has resumed !!! £1.22 as we rebuild, ahead of what were mainly invested for the massive TW | sirmark
04/3/2022 15:03 | Note the share price . I wondered this morning if we were going to head back over 130 pence today after the fierce drop to wipe out the ridiculous T10 gamblers. Hope they never return . | winner66
04/3/2022 14:22 | Not necessarily Soggy. The comment about testing commencing next week may have been a later addition. If the worst of the blizzard was last Fri/Sat, it may have overlapped into Sun, which would have given them a few days this week to recommence testing of the SMD, figuring out what was going wrong and what to do next. So the decision to suspend at Talitha was probably only taken yesterday, in which case next few days will be demobilising at Talitha and moving equipment across to TW and getting it hooked up there. Note forecast is showing more snow and wind tomorrow and Sunday, but hopefully not strong enough to cause delays. | johnswan193
04/3/2022 14:11 | JS - which suggests they may have already started the testing???If so, slightly less time to wait and slightly more time to get back to Talitha.... | soggy
04/3/2022 13:52 | Based on historical weather data it looks as though the worst of the blizzard may have occurred around last Fri/Sat, 25/26 Feb, after which they would have began demobilising the rig for it to be on the road yesterday. I can only think the below part of todays RNS was prepared last Friday, perhaps as a standalone statement. Not sure why they wouldn't have released it back then. "All remedial works within the well bore at Theta West have been successfully completed and the well is now ready for testing. The cement in the casing was drilled out and a new liner was set to Total Depth. The Nordic Calista #3 rig demobilization is planned for this weekend, preparing for the arrival of the testing equipment from Talitha". | johnswan193
04/3/2022 13:34 | Good post Antique 👍 | highly geared
04/3/2022 12:54 | Whilst we all patiently await an Operations update of the Theta West BBF flow test, I remain cautiously optimistic that PANR could still return to Talitha and complete a successful flow test at the SMD-B before 15th April 2022. I’ve arrived at this conclusion after noting this statement from today’s RNS - ‘If time is available after testing the BFF at Theta West, the equipment will be relocated back to Talitha for additional remedial and testing operations.’ Failing which, as several posters have already stated, we will get a second chance to test the SMD when we drill the Alkaid-2 well in the summer. I admire the decisiveness shown by the PANR Technical team, who have had some tough calls to make in the last 2 weeks. h/t. | antique7879
04/3/2022 12:37 | Shares go up,shares go down and its not as if the holes a duster! o/t i see Andy Serkis being gollum about mad ras putin. | rafthorney
04/3/2022 12:11 | Well said tizo100. Obviously RNS a disappointment but whilst accepting nothing is certain I remain optimistic, plenty to go for! | hondacbf
04/3/2022 12:07 | for heaven's people get out of the school playground and stop points scoring | tizo100
04/3/2022 11:48 | What did ngms explicitly say about testing equipment please? Gg - in this case, I think people are attributing to ngms a view that he didn’t actually write! He did however say BFF at Theta West is a “slam dunk”! Let’s hope so. And, absolutely, the oil is still there and will remain so until we get it out! | probabilityofsuccess
04/3/2022 11:40 | Scot, I was proved correct about the 78p effect, which I always said would remain in place until testing results came in. This is exactly what happened. Weren't you the person running around giving assurances over two sets of testing equipment? And urging people to apply a personal discount factor to Ngms when he raised this? Oh dear! Didn't you also tell people on here that there would be two separate flow tests on the SFS at Talitha? When I corrected you on that, you even had the nerve to contact our management team about it and waste their time, only for them to confirm that I was correct. Scot has unfortunately failed professionally to elevate himself above the level of analyst, which is why he is so bitter towards me. That and the fact I have embarrassed him countless times on here on numerous items he has claimed to be an expert on. The only people I have encountered in my career that try to ridicule people who do not work in the front office are those with a severe inferiority complex. | johnswan193
04/3/2022 11:38 | "if the frac fluid has reacted with the SMD and created a blockage, then they may not want to return to the SMD at Talitha #1" They perforated 10ft. Isn't it possible/likely they have another opportunity within the remaining 145ft? | swanvesta
04/3/2022 11:32 | thx, I didn't see that @pro | cezuan
04/3/2022 11:30 | cezuan - The argument would be.....if the frac fluid has reacted with the SMD and created a blockage, then they may not want to return to the SMD at Talitha #1 - better wait to retest the SMD at Alkaid with a different frac fluid and then, if Alkaid SMD works well, they can in effect forget Talitha #1 and work on Alkaid and Theta West as the two big headlines, and just return to P&A Talitha ahead of drilling a Talitha #2 well somewhere better suited. Next winter they most likely plan to drill a Theta West #2 and a Talitha #2 well, the plan being to pay for it with cash generated from Alkaid production testing and another fund raise imo. Theta West #1 is only the beginning, appraisal well next winter. | pro_s2009
04/3/2022 11:29 | I strongly urge readers of this thread to attach your personal discount factor to content posted by john "The Pinnacle" swan193. This guy may very well work in a hedge fund but he is *NOT* a fund manager or analyst. He is a Risk Manager so is employed in the middle office and, despite his prolific presence on this thread, does NOT have front office education, training and, vitally, experience. This bloviating cretin told us all the share price had a ceiling of 78p just five weeks ago. And now he's up to the same crystal ball-gazing nonsense again. Staggering. | scot126 |
