Certainly feels like Farallon are still selling, and given that they only need to sell 7.4M shares to drop below 8% (81M shares traded since 7/12/21) maybe we will get an RNS soon.

johnswan193, the Kuparuk isn't Brookian. It had much better qualities I've been led to believe.

Watching Level2 the past few weeks seems the selling is relentless, I will be the first to admit in spite of my top up's recently it does look like I should have waited and even sliced some to buy back cheaper (risky move) I can see it getting into the late 60's before the webinar ... just don't know if its worth the risk to trade and grab some extra shares :(

Based on various insight from the guild/other boards etc. I think the geological consensus is that the flow rates would ‘naturallyR17; be lower at Talitha than TW because of the difference in the deposition of the rock at the two locations (apologies if my language is incorrect). Basically, TW is better placed to see higher flow rates, so, if Talitha does flow at (even) 100 bopd that is fantastic news. It won’t be a producer so it’s not an issue, it just underpins the case even more.

I assume that flow rates could be enhanced by a lateral drill which is why one as proposed last year, obviously this year they must be more relaxed about flow rates as no lateral has been planned for, apparently.

Excellent, thanks Jonny. So if the Kuparuk had stabilised at 100bopd would that have been good given the below. i.e. was the rate itself disappointing or was it the fact it only flowed intermittently.

RNS 19-Apr-21

"Testing of the deepest of these zones, the Kuparuk formation, which flowed high-quality light oil intermittently at rates up to 100 BOPD, a disappointing rate".

I'm not sure what market will need to see to treat it as success case, but I'd be surprised if 100bopd stabilised was enough to do it and take it through to 150p (even if mgmt. and shareholders on these BBs think otherwise). That's exactly why I'm preparing to load up post initial results.

Thanks ngms - and your cos for BFF flowing at least 100 bopd at Talitha?

Keep smiling, stay positive!

At least I know my English and know when to use were.

Success case on BFF flowing at Talitha 150p is my best guestimate.

If the BFF flows at Talitha at 1000bopd, we’ll see a share price over £3.

Not saying I believe it will happen (or am I…….I217;m not sure?) just a statement randomly thrown out there for balance 😀

…….and short term upside ngms, if BFF does flow at 100 bopd, before they start testing TW?

Be good to see your thinking both downside and upside

Yes sub 20p on BFF failure at Talitha given what management have said around moveable oil etc.

I hope that those of you talking about the possibility of perceived failure are prepared for Odin (the deity scot) to descend from Valhalla (also known as the sceptred halls of the Guild) to smite you down with vitriol.

So ngms, you are saying that if BFF doesn't flow at Talitha you are expecting sub 20p, and presumably selling out?

In that case does the risk/reward ratio make any sense for you to even hold through Talitha testing?

dhb368

I saw Seahawk on LSE also suggested anything over 100bopd would be good.

But do you think this would impress the market?

Not sure I agree with sub-20p if Talitha BFF fails, though I agree even something inconclusive will be very damaging to the share price (I was thinking more like 40%+ drop given it wouldn't completely write off TW).

Still a lot of potential outside of that zone.

If the BFF doesn't flow at Talitha (100 bopd stabilised would be fine) then I don't see this de-risking Theta West at all, actually the opposite. It would be a gamble to buy at sub 20p which is where we will go in this case.

Yes, but how many flow results from Talitha before we get results from TW? And how likely is it that the Talitha flow rest of the BFF impresses the market given the sub-optimal location? I can see a scenario where the market is unimpressed with the initial Talitha flow result, even if it further derisks the drill at TW, in which case a great buying opportunity may exist. What interests me most about the upcoming webinar is more info on the range of possible outcomes in testing Talitha BFF and how this affects expectations for TW.

I don't think the current market will value PANR anything like we hoped for short term unfortunately.

I just don't think people are understanding the sheer size and potential of this drill that's happening in just a few weeks !!!

I can see this opening on very successful drill news from Theta West at £2+ and a rush to £5+

Yes, plus in the success case any actions of Farallon and convertibles will be easily absorbed within the next few months.

These convertibles are very different beasts to those issued by HUR. The consequences for equity are far less likely to be problematic for shareholders!

You obviously have a better plan than what the BoD decides on financing the next 9 months ngms27, please enlighten us all!
