ngms27, did you read this bit?

The Convertible Bonds have a coupon of 4.0% per annum and will amortise quarterly at 5.0% of the initial principal amount, both payable quarterly in cash or new Ordinary Shares at the Company's option.

...."in cash or new Ordinary Shares at the Company's option." means a bondholder going short may not get the opportunity to cover with shares as they may receive cash instead, and presumably won't know in advance.

Unlike you to look at the down side of this ngms. Have a peek and see if you can see any upside. Anyway, funding RNS announced today, Tuesday 7th December, as I said it would be last week. Now there's a thing....

Look what convertibles did to HUR. Continually supressed the share price by being hedged by holders going short.

Dear All - $70m has been raised by the company, comprising $50m convertible bond and $20m new equity. I'm told the deal is already more than covered but that they will consider overs on the equity piece. Price is set at 65p !!!!!) for the equity component. If you're interested, contact Primary Bid or call your broker and get them to phone your order into Canaccord if they have a relationship there. Good luck.
