Fair enough Rabito. I would certainly have taken offence at such an allegation being levelled at me. You, Telemachus and Darcon have always struck me as being upstanding members of the community and I have obtained much useful and legal input from you all.

So who's buying in such volumes?

Could be institutional, of course, especially as the stock is increasingly becoming visible in the US.

But I certainly don't think we can rule out the other possibility.....

HD, ngms accused myself, Telemachus, Darcon and other Reddit moderators of illegal activity. Don’t know if that qualifies as a ‘vicious attack’ but something I certainly took offence to.

Interesting to see that Farallon/CHONS have disposed of 7M shares over the last 3 weeks, a period that saw the share price actually rise 17% from 75 to 88.

HD not my best time purchase... now officially the most I've ever paid ! to be honest I thought this morning we was going to retrace to 80/82 as the news was absorbed in the early rise but as we now can see the midday trading and other factors kicked in the share price surged to new recent highs .. I was watching L2 and the 100k seller at 90 go taken out in whim and I thought jeez here we go it.. and we puled back to the close... understandably as its a Friday and the traders on this stock wouldn't be unreasonable to want to bank those profits as we come off multi year highs .. but next week I have a feeling well be seeing a pound sign in front of out holdings.

hiddendepths, post #18958: “….including some of the most knowledgeable, driven from here by vicious personal attacks….̶1; I reckon it’s safe to presume you are referring to Telemachus and Darcon?

What?????

Did jonnyT actually make some vicious personal attacks? I'd better reread the 18977 posts on the thread and find them! I certainly don't remember any but you know us 85 year olds. Hey, you're not agist are you? Or should that be ageist?

Anyway, nice move to end the week! I'll celebrate with a half of shandy, I think!

ps Nice one sirmark!

I agree with Scot126 on something!!!

If you've never had a share gone sour you've not invested in the market for very long or you're either very lucky (I'm being generous) or a liar.

Personally I've had two 100% wipeouts and on both occasions BoD members spent time on her Majesties pleasure for fraud. Before the turn of the Millennium I had a share rise from 60p to over 2000p. I watched it fall to 1800p, 1600p, 1000p and all the way back from whence it came before I sold. Lesson learned the hard way.

Forward or Forwood either way it is not backwards.
What do the charts say about a weekly close around the 90p level

I think the MSCI Index inclusion is a major catalyst for today's spike....and I hope that those who have been "topping and tailing" hoping to get back in at 76p have covered their short.

Thanks scot,

My question was prompted by Eseis’ waver of a significant fee (something in excess of $2.7m if I recall correctly) in exchange for (again, if memory serves) a 1% royalty over Pantheon’s acreage excluding Alkaid.

As that was at a time when the announced in place, recoverable barrels and other figures were considerably less, I wondered if a royalty might now be worth a tad more per 1% given the subsequent news releases.

I know Pantheon are aware of the funding route taken by Hibiscus Petroleum Bhd last year. Do you think they may look at that as an option?

edited to add the following quote&link;

"With the signing of this deed, Hibiscus and Trafigura have put in place a framework for the following: Potential future offtake of crude oil by Trafigura from assets owned/projects undertaken by Hibiscus; and potential funding for projects and asset acquisitions pursued by Hibiscus."

It was an unusual situation when that was reported. Oil futures had been trading at minus figures. At recent oil prices, presumably Pantheon would be able to cut a much better deal with the like of Trafigura?

Someone over the pond knows, or thinks they know, something, I guess.

Pantheon's pretty tight - could be a trickle from a farm-in partner maybe?

Hi fordtin, post #18962: hmmmm, too early for that IMO. Specialist royalty buyers will wait until the cashflow characteristics of a field or mine are pretty well understood and modelled. In 2022, PANR intends to conduct a LTPT at Alkaid so that'll give management heaps more data to work with. A reclassification of Alkaid's contingent resource up to reserve status is, *on a successful LTPT*, very likely to occur. Reserve-based lending options will perhaps open up to PANR after that threshold is reached.

I think I see what you're getting at in your questions. However, in truth, corporates/ specialist funds looking to invest at least $50m (?) in order to fund the anticipated winter programme will invariably demand a percentage share of the W.I. of the asset(s).
