This board should be a broad church and not just scott126's fan club.

When Darcon moderated the board it became apparent to me that it was scotts way or the highway. It was Scott who threatened to ban me not Darcon when I disagreed with his opinions. I had to conclude that Darcon given he did ban me was Scotts puppet on a string.

I went blue to keep the discussion going to stop the ludicrous censorship. This is a discussion board not Scotts fan club and people should understand this is a fundamental issue if you hope to make any sensible decisions.

..A key consideration in structuring a farmout that covers a significant amount of acreage and contemplates joint development is that the parties keep in mind that they may be entering into a long-term relationship..

I’m not missing your point johnswan - I understand the macro and fundamental factors thanks (see my previous posts on POO forecasts and it’s relationship to current POO….and the associated macro factors).

Your ‘point’ was nothing to do with POO really, and all about attempting to score points!

I note there is more ‘fool’ calling - seems to be a common theme between you and Forwood! Calling others fools is not becoming and tells many of us a lot about the person that says it.

I also note that you seem to conflate agreeing with some points that someone makes with “followed and supported blindly”. Please be less condescending! The opposite applies to your thinking - you don’t have to disagree with Scot’s points just because Scot made them. I refer to those that clearly give thumbs down for the poster, irrespective of the validity or content of a post!

POS you are missing the point that the current POO doesn’t matter as much to Panr, who is not a producer - what is more important is the future POO - exactly what is influenced by the macro factors the other poster was writing about.

Put it this way, if the current POO was not good but the future outlook was more positive, do you think Scot would still not want to talk about those macro factors? Only a fool could not see the agenda.

Of course we all (or most of us) want nothing more than Panr to have success, but for me personally that does not involve biased cheerleading, deliberately misleading statements and bullying behaviour towards those wishing to add balance, flag risks or just generally take a more conservative view.

Scots role is to promote Panr at all costs. If it fails I expect he’ll be gone and we won’t hear from him again. Many of us that have been on these BBs for years have been through failures and successes and will likely remain regardless. I have seen a lot of Scots come and go over the years and all that remains of most are the bones of those who followed and supported them blindly.

Oh dear Johnswan - please don’t tell me you’ve been waiting all day for Scot to make his daily post on ANS crude price (note PANR specific, not US or Brent crude) just to make that point!

I wouldn’t call a daily one liner in addition to a large amount of fundamental analysis an ‘overwhelming focus’ on macro factors, would you? (If you do, I think you may be being slightly blinkered because of your history with Scot!).

Conclusion - Scot is absolutely not “contradicting himself”.

For the record, I personally have no issues with bobbiedazzlers posts.

Forwood, do you remember he threatened to do that before? He spoke about it for a week or two, and everybody encouraged him to do it, but he eventually realised (long after many of us) that it would only result in the sales pitch reaching a smaller audience.

Johnswan, I saw that and Scot has twice made the same suggestion to me for technical charts, though somewhat less politely. If everyone who disagreed with Scot or didn't fit his worldview was to set up their own board, we'd have a long unwieldy mess.

I have a suggestion too, now that Darcon has vacated the role of moderator, why doesn't Scot set up his own board? If it was an ordinary BBS, he could moderate (ban) all the non-blues he doesn't agree with, though wouldn't be able to stop other blues from posting. Alternatively, he could set up a Guild and have complete control over who joins. He could call it the 'Yes' thread.

Or, he could work on his control issues and just live and let live.

What very large buys, Winner? The largest buy during the day was 30,000. There were a couple of large reported trades pre-open at 86.4, yesterday's closing price. They could have been buys but hard to know.

Today was relatively low volume but with more AT sellers than buyers, you could say they were responsible for the fall.

Type...........Buy...........Sell........?
AT Total.....502,458......726,359
O Total......329,289......251,713.....211,631
UT Total.......3,348......113,288

G Total......835,095....1,091,360.....211,631

See below - if something doesn't match up with Scot's agenda of pushing the investment case of Panr at all costs, look what happens. He doesn't even bother to wait longer than a day before contradicting himself. He simply didn't like BDs approach, which was to consider important risk factors Scot had deliberately omitted from his own analysis. Remember the point of these BBs is to form a discussion board for investors and interested parties, not to serve as a promotional tool for Scot and whoever may be paying him to do what he does. Good thing I stand up to bullies.

9-Nov, Scot makes patronising comment to Bobbiedazzler (relating to what was a very good post):

I wonder whether this thread is the correct forum for the macro issues you have identified? Perhaps set up your own macro thread or decide to ration your macro posts until the results of the anticipated winter programme have been published? It’s no biggie but I do observe that in the *relatively* short period of time you’ve been posting on the thread there’s been an overwhelming focus on carbon pricing, POO, emissions, etc.

10-Nov, one day later, from Scot:

FYI - the price of ANS West Coast crude was $84.68 on 8/11/21 v's Brent at $83.42.

Maybe they have sufficient interested parties that they can afford to wait until the last minute to see if one of their preferred potential farm-in partners will blink and up the ante.

No need for a link Scot, thanks anyway. I’m a bit surprised they handed it back so soon after it was acquired. It’s still mentioned on the Pantheon website home page fwiw.
