Great news, leaving nothing to chance ....for me a perfect play and swings the balance of power back with us as they farmin partner may have been thinking time was running out and a squeeze on but a great play by our board and securing essentials ahead of the biggest drill in 2022 in the world (imo) maybe decade !!!

Ha! Not quite what was expected! My overarching view is that you don't make such arrangements unless you're pretty certain you'll be drilling this season. Bit of brinksmanship going on with potential farm in partner(s) or just finishing off the terms of a long term partnership? We'll know soon enough.

excellent news, I personally prefer a farm out and expect the terms that the company will be able to negotiate will surprise, to the upside.

I think this is further validation of the post above by olderwiser2. The deep pocketed investor would have been informed of the state of play, and who the player(s) are. Satisfied enough to part with $1.5m unsecured. The rate of 10% pa on amounts drawn is pretty low were there to be much risk involved.
Sensible action by the company.

Looks like farm out talks going down to the wire. I think this draw down can be taken as positive news, otherwise Pantheon would have gone for an equity raise especially considering the relative strength in its share price.

That RNS was unexpected and unwelcome, at least to me.

Financing options have been clearly laid out by PANR, and the preferred option is a farmout on the right terms with the right partner.
A back up plan is the simple capital raise and continue alone at 100% ownership.
With that in mind PANR have stated, post Talitha data set “we can get a partner now”

As the time window begins to narrow, it is fair to draw some logical conclusions.
A negotiation is underway (as recently stated by PANR)
That party or parties are the right partner, PANR are crystal clear on this, it has to be the right partner.
The deal is close enough, to the right deal, to be at the table, there is no point in being there if they are to far apart.
To be this far along the negotiations, shows the data is good enough to attract the right partner, with a decent offer.
Details will decide this, as a final offer is compared to the capital raise plan B

IMO the BOD have the skills and experience to make the right choice, they have both a strong oily hand and a finance option to weigh.

The highs get higher and the lows get higher. Fabulous strength in the share price . Fundamentals and off grid news , example platform promotion. These are the the important factors in the absence of or in advance of specific news. I still maintain that we will be above a pound on Thursday or Friday . Then onwards we go

I can smell a party ..... £1 coming this week imo and next week news.... personally IMO the strength in share price and relentlessness of the buying I feel that despite my prefered option I have a feeling that Farm out is going to happen and with a BOG slope player and that news will set the touch light paper as they will more than likely be the new owner come mid/late next year ..all of course IMO
