Hi WesTx - all fair points but that ship has long since sailed.

The easy access to free/cheap satellite imagery clearly meets the "publicly available information" test. I'm happy to be educated but, at time of writing, I'm unaware of the market regulators taking any legal or enforcement action on the publication of such images?

Here's a counter-view for you, WesTx. I'd suggest that it's excellent fundamental research to go seeking such value-added information. The trouble comes in interpreting it correctly!! That's where folk like you come in, if you're so minded?!

Has anyone pondered the idea that perhaps it's counterproductive to post current satellite images of Talitha and Theta? There are numerous reasons company might wish to hold information 'tight' until they deem it appropriate for RNS. Open adjacent acreage, offset operators, potential partners to name a few.

Whilst not strictly relevant to this blog site, I thought I would draw investors attention to CHAR.L which has an interesting gas field off the Moroccan coast and should be in production within 12 months with production for sale in Morocco and Spain. Also some potential in concessions offshore Namibia adjacent to some good prospects. I have taken a meaningful position but DYOR! Unfortunately the blog site is plagued with a large number of crazy bloggers (I have filtered out 80%) as has happened to this PANR blog(I have filtered out 60%)

Adx the one from the 20th that you tweeted.

I think it had more convincing and differentiating plume of smoke rather than this time.

DON'T GIVE UP!

I'm also pleased to see any satellite images... tried to get some myself of another location ( not PANR related ) without success. I am all for images being posted and any info being shared. My contributions were to offer other options, not just assume it's gas being flared during testing. That's not to say any of our opinions/ thoughts are correct or incorrect... keep up the good work :-) GLAC

Adxwasere, I'm definitely not claiming to be an expert in satellite imaging, however I've been watching images of the Theta West site for the last week and one from the 7th March looks almost identical to the second one you are posting so I would assert that no flaring is taking place yet. Fingers crossed some time this week.

Hi Adx...,

Please do continue to post here.

As you've probably guessed, you're dealing with a highly analytical bunch on here.
However, it doesn't mean that they don't appreciate your efforts to find new information. I appreciate your effort.

Regards, Mike

You get big plumes from generators on start up. Given the conditions I would be surprised if the generators have been turned off at all since switched on (which is was weeks ago)

Amazing to be able to make out the Stack. It's not that clear for me... If NC3 was still on site, I would expect to see that & gauge where the flare stack is from the other images posted elsewhere... Without an overview of the actual test equipment on site I would say it's difficult to be sure what is what??

Could it just be exhaust gas / smoke from on site generators for the site testing activity & site accommodation requirements??
