27/11/2015 14:41 | Not sure if they've touched it, but they have a mine there which was operating. If you look at the link I posted yesterday, you will see very clearly the whole site. There is the mining plant. There is terracing clearly visible. There is a tailings pit. There are thousands of mounds of processed material (you can see each individual dumper bucket). There are Road networks. There are offices/buildings for the operation. There is what appears to be a housing block, purposefully built for the resident mine workers. There are trees etc around those buildings (ie, maintained). Finally, there are vehicles, cars, 4x4s around those buildings.I've not checked the date on the satellite imagery, but if it's post 2011, then in all likelihood, something is happening at the mine. | apfindley
27/11/2015 14:39 | normally mr papolin you call the lse site a waste of time and space, today you think it is a source of truth, and an anonymous poster has validity. lots of supposition that uzbeks have not mined any gold, BUT NO PROOF. | kun aguero1
27/11/2015 14:36 | Papillon, yes, he's a reliable poster. It might just be some clumsy wording on the part of posters who meant compensation for the gold that *would* have been mined since the date of expropriation / misappropriation. | nick2412
27/11/2015 14:35 | His post has some validity, Mr Putin, since no one on this bb has yet provided proof that gold has been mined from the confiscated/stolen OXS assets since they were stolen. Lots of supposition, but no proof. | papillon
27/11/2015 14:27 | and my name is mr putin. | kun aguero1
27/11/2015 14:22 | I saw this post, from a poster called VladLenin, on the lse bb yesterday. He states that no gold has been mined from the confiscated OXS assets since they were "stolen" by the Uzbeks. That's completely different to some posters on here who have been saying that OXS should be awarded compensation for the gold mined since the assets were "stolen" from OXS. VladLenin comes across as a reliable poster and says he lives in the region of Uzbekistan, which may, or may not be true; I have no way of knowing. Here's the 1st part of his post: OXS RE: we wont hear the result Thu 18:47 You ask if the Uzbeks could have mined the assets. The answer is a massive no. The site has laid idle since it was abandoned. They do not have the capability to mine there, and the equipment on site is in the name of Oxus, and no one will repair this for them. | papillon

27/11/2015 13:31 | Yeah, What an idiot posting award rumours yesterday just to annoy the chl detractors.Only disappointment was that temmy-maestro must've had the day off, because he's usually the first to hear any rumours. | apfindley

27/11/2015 13:10 | I still wonder if we will get an RNS from OXS first giving a definite date by which time the verdict will be given as happened in the case of RUR with their UNCITRAL arbitration. It's possible. | papillon
27/11/2015 13:08 | I will also stick my nose out and say decision out by xmas. | 78steve
27/11/2015 13:05 | My current OXS value £362kJust sat there waiting waiting for the very near future. | apfindley

27/11/2015 12:54 | The panel are of an age where it's reasonable to question whether the decision has been slowed down due to any particular member suffering a health issue. I'm glad to say that it looks like that isn't the case. We know that Ms Sterne is very active. Prof Tercier attended a seminar in Washington in the middle of this month. Marc Lalonde, 86, gave this brief interview just over a week ago :- Prof Tercier is based in Geneva so, as Chair of the panel, that might be the location and time zone where the decision comes from although, as above, he does travel around. At the risk of sounding like the guy on another thread who incorrectly predicts a decision every other day, I'll stick my neck out and guess that the decision will come next week. | nick2412
27/11/2015 12:10 | slong. LOL. | papillon
