26/11/2015 16:29 | GS Alternately folk may speculate that the verdict would come in 2017 given RS previous guidance that verdict will be out in 2014. It is anyone's guess but going by what RS said is just taking a position to justify your own views.. as he has had previous as giving a totally unreliable guidance. People usually believe what they want and try to find an angle to justify it.... If price goes up on heavy volume then .. the Volume is not to be ignored. If price goes down on heavy volume then it is Tx traders trying to get out and an opportunity to top up...( volume to be ignored). | ![]() buggy

26/11/2015 16:16 | I do believe that Richard Shead was informed by the arbitrators that the verdict would be given in the "very near future" notwithstanding the fact that announcing it proved very convenient to getting a good deal on the CLN conversion. However I don't believe he was given a specific date, as were RUR, since if he was, then by AIM rules and regulations, he would have been obliged to give out that information to shareholders in an RNS. However what is the "very near future" to the arbitrators may not accord with the definition of "very near future" to us mere mortals! However, IMO, the verdict could be announced tomorrow, next week, the following week, or before the year end (ARMS verdict was issued on the 31/12/14). We just can't be certain when it will be announced. I think it's too dangerous to trade OXS if you believe that OXS will be awarded generous compensation. The verdict could come at any time. I'm targeting US$200M-US$400M with US%300M being my favoured guess. However it's likely that OXS were subjected to blatantly unfair tactics & pressure during their negotiations to sell their 50% stake to the Uzbeks (basically being blackmailed by the Uzbecks threatening to liquidate the JV) so it's quite possible that the arbitration panel will award further punitive damages to OXS over and above my US$300M target. Lets hope so. | ![]() papillon
26/11/2015 16:12 | Off topic - BB housekeeping GS Just spotted this post. The content refers to a well known poster (Mclellan) who died in a car crash earlier this year. The poster who posted it has actually set up an online campaign and on other threads celebrating her passing and posting some very graphic and unpleasant details as is evident in 29023. ADVFN have been informed of this individual but to save me the trouble, if you don't mind moderating it. The family of the poster concerned could potentially come across this via the stuff posted on the general internet. Cheers tro1l 26 Nov'15 - 13:36 - 29023 of 29063 0 1 | ![]() loverat

26/11/2015 15:51 | GS. RUR's RNS of 20/12/13 was titled Anticipated Arbitration Award, but then goes on to state that "Rurelec PLC (AIM:RUR), the operator and developer of power generation capacity internationally, announces that it has been informed by the President of the Arbitration Tribunal considering Rurelec's claim for compensation for the nationalisation of its Bolivian assets that notification of the award is now anticipated to occur before the end of January 2014." So RUR were INFORMED by the President of the UNCITRAL arbitration panel that the award was anticipated before the end of January 2014. So I think we can safely assume that Richard Shead WASN'T INFORMED by the arbitrators that the verdict was anticipated by a specific date. If he had been I assume he would have given that date to shareholders as did RUR. In the event the RUR verdict was issued on the 3/2/14, just a few days after the end of January deadline. | ![]() papillon
