26/11/2015 10:37 | MP, what do you think is delaying the decision? Would you agree with me that there is an ongoing investigation against some high profile people and Uncitral can't release the decision right now? | ![]() marmar80

26/11/2015 10:35 | O/T rossannan, apologies it was tongue-in-cheek. I was thinking more like the OXS May 2014 arbitration (final hearing). I assume CHL are some way from this type of event, is that the case ? | ![]() giant steps
26/11/2015 10:35 | Rossann. You appear to be significantly more interested and invested in CHL than in OXS, so why not go and post over there? You seem a bit negative towards Oxus, but we can see, all you're actually doing is trying to promote Churchill. Probably because your investment there is losing ground. As I said 2 years ago now, the OXS case will be the firstly conclude as they are about 2 years ahead of chl.A certain group tried to pump that company (Jan 2014) with false claims an award would be paid in (Feb 2014). I think I've got the year correct, if not thrn it was in 13.That was never going to happen, as it was just another "hearing" on the route to arbitration, but alas, many could jot be convinced. Then we had all the hype over the guy who was linked to chl being appointed an indo government post. What good has it all done? Nothing. The fact is that chl are way behind OXS as they haven't even had their case go before the arbitration panel yet. Also, although with merit, they had not even progressed to building a mine like OXS, or to full commercial production like OXS.They had a license, and a resource estimate. They had spent no money on infrastructure or mine construction. The OXS case is far far stronger and will be much more likely to see an award of a higher percent of claim than chl will.So however much you come on here being negative towards OXS, it will not serve in any way to bolster your own case at chl.Clearly you want people here to go buy shares over there to boost that share price.Fact: you picked the wrong company out of a choice of 2, and your timing saw you buy too high.Rant over. | ![]() apfindley

26/11/2015 10:18 | Yes, as I said the other day, usually the closer to the venue, the tickets getting more expensive. | ![]() marmar80
26/11/2015 10:03 | People's patience in C21 seems v. short. SP of OXS drifting down slightly pending arbitration outcome which is still expected very soon gives rise to some tetchy posts. Perhaps CHL is a better example where outcome is likely to be some time away yet with its share price falling quite substantially meanwhile - another 7.9% today so far. I hold both and the lesson appears to be that of buying and holding and ignoring daily fluctuations in SPs, rather than that of trading. If OXS share price doubles after the arbitration outcome - by no means impossible - then despite holding for say a year, the gain on the original investment would be 100% - rather better than bank interest or many other investment types. Of course the arbitration outcome may dismiss all OXS claims but that is where the PI has to do his/her own research and take the risk or not. | ![]() maytrees

26/11/2015 09:33 | I think we have to be grateful Calunius came to fight our corner on a no win no fee basis. Think of other cases (e.g CHL) where they need to fund directly in the market; legal fees over a lengthy process not to be ignored. | ![]() giant steps
26/11/2015 09:26 | kcowe - That's not what I said either. I haven't read their site for a long while but from memory - Calunius say they don't even look at a case unless the award is likely to be 6x their outlay. If so, they merely look to double up on their total arb funding investments so they usually aim to treble their money on each case to offset the losses on some cases, with the occasional 'home run' presumably meaning a multi-bagger such as they probably hope Oxus will turn out to be. Therefore, at worst they appear to be expecting us to be awarded 6 x $6m of which their share may well be 3 x $6m. Thereafter, I'd guess their share will be on a sliding scale as the award sum rises, with perhaps even a maximum cap as well? Let's hope our case gives them the home run they desire, plus a bull's eye, hole-in-one and first round knock out thrown in for good measure! :-) | 99jeremiah
26/11/2015 09:24 | StoneFold, there may not be a need to go for any more. Drill rig payment more than likely to be rolled/deferred and they have recently collected $300K (2 x £100K). The signal for news was given 57 days ago, and on the basis of no other qualification, one may think news is imminent given the very near future. | ![]() giant steps
26/11/2015 09:20 | I really like how certain posters on here have more knowledge than E&Y, Calunius and our CEO, who incidentally has a lot more to lose than anybody. There are also posters setting dates for the "very near future" comment by RS which IMO is dangerous and misleading, DYOR guys and don't listen to all the experts on hear that's the best advice anyone can give. GL end is in sight. | ![]() wallyjumblat
