Warrants have a clause on them to exercise or lose them, what’s the problem there? Either they bring in more funds or they vanish

The broker note issued today is very much jam tomorrow, it is worth noting that the need for funding has not been mentioned.

Shard has not offered a target price merely suggesting the current £7.7m m/cap is 'unchallenging'

The current and relatively long standing price range of 0.40p to 0.50p is here for a reason, the market knows there will be a placing in Q4 and the 200m warrant headwind at 0.68p, worth noting these warrants will be around for another 13 months regardless.

The time to buy will come, but not before they raise cash.

Another day when buys outnumber sells by around 2:1 and still the MMs keep a lid on it. Hopefully the brakes will come off if the buying continues tomorrow.

A buy of over 1.9m has just been reported. Over the last several weeks I have noticed that larger buys have a much more frequent occurrence compared to before.

All it needs now is another catalyst like another Director buy or some other news on Monday and up it will shoot imho.

The window of opportunity is closing for market participants who wish to buy this bombed out sector, has anyone noticed the market is not so willing to sell large lines of stock at current levels like in Q2 and 1st half of Q3. Tells you all you need to know.

There are many propositions which could see material gains in Q4, this is a PI's favourite, as such will attract volume sooner than others.

From the 8th August RNS:

"Subject to completion of the Year 4 expenditure plan, IAMGOLD will have the right to acquire a 51% interest in the Project and will thereafter need to spend a further US$4 million over two years to earn a 70% interest."

Now if I was in charge of IAMG I'd be thinking why spend an additional $4m to achieve a 70% interest in Senala when you could probably pick up the whole company including all its legacy assets and a dominant position in Cameroon for something like £16m based on the current market cap of ORR. That is why TL is and will be continuing to bust a gut to increase the ridiculously low valuation of this company. Plenty more to come here imo, including further drilling results from Cameroon and Senegal before any raise and the possibility that one won't be needed if enough cash comes in from the legacy assets.

For Livesey & Co to be credible they need to break the duck of placings and raise cash via alternative routes as they implied around 2 years ago, this would unsettle the shorting crew who would then be forced to close their naked shorts in the market.

It seems their best option is a royalty sale, the Muradere project seems to be the one as it has been mentioned numerous times by the CFO, they are also owed $1.4m from Turkish defaulters who they have been pursuing for ever and an age in the courts.

The CFO also mentioned a written off holding in Elephant Oil, this could be more valuable than expected, a recent note suggested that Red Rock PLC stake could be worth £1.2m, they have 1m shares, Oriole hold 15% of that, it could bring in £175,000 therefore.

The shares have fallen too far, as others have pointed out the low valuation makes the company a takeover target.

The improved PR has made ORR more 'popular' in the market, there is a swathe of cash just waiting to re-enter the stock when sentiment turns up.

In today’s webcast TL was questioned about funding for the upcoming drilling campaign at Bibemi and responded by stating that they still had over £800k in the bank and were mobilising the drilling team now with the rig already on site. He added that that they might have to do a raise at some point in the future, but had other routes to cash in the short to medium term thanks to the legacy assets and the opportunity to sell royalties.

TRR recently announced the purchase of their latest royalty interests here:
from which you will see that they paid $2.5m even though the asset is not yet in production. This is the sort of thing I had in mind when I recently posted that Tim might have something up his sleeve to confound those who have been shorting ORR in anticipation of a near term raise.

Chartist targets near term move .65p then .77p and then 1p.

Sector volume remains pitiful.

This looks a great entry point and a recovery play for Q4 where many expect the sector to recover, you need to get into these juniors before the herd arrives.

From 1.95p to .50p, what a opportunity.
