Some very positive and sensible debate over on LSE concerning today's news, folks are suggesting with every announcement a stepping stone has been built to larger events.

One wonders how much longer ORR can survive as a listed entity, do you really think there is no major mulling over the potential of a new gold district in virgin Cameroon.

I am quite sure a takeover approach could some when least expected, that is usually how it works, Barrack seems an ideal candidate, if one recalls they bought out Tembo Gold for $100m in stage payments for their land packages in Tanzania, at the time a near 15 fold increase verses Tembo's then market valuation.

Basically Oriole is materially undervalued, the market is woeful but it also creates a buy in opportunity, something ORR directors have been doing historically.

The rise in the gold price is unrelenting, ORR has huge gold tenements in the Cameroon with 1st mover advantage, it is only a matter of time before quality minnows surge in price.

A wall of money is poised to move into the junior mining space, quality juniors will be early beneficiaries.

The time to buy is when it is quiet !!

Confirmation of my post yesterday that there is a large background buyer out there, AIM is a leaky as a sieve so who knows what they might know.

My bet is a material event is going to occur concerning Cameroon, some agreement with the Government for example, maybe financial maybe preferred treatment or granting of mining rights.

The current circa £13m m/cap is a farce given previous comments from the company suggesting Cameroon could hold equally large gold deposits as Tanzania, Oriole has cherry picked the best licences remember.

No wonder the recent broker note is comparing ORR with £100m m/cap peers.

In years past they always said buy a stock that is rising in weak markets, well ORR has been rising and we are in weak markets.

Management have already talked about near term alluvial gold production, the high level meetings with the Government are for a reason.

I think the possibility of ORR become a producer has been overlooked, their JV partner has ability to deliver plant and expertise.

This is an exciting time for shareholders.

All those meetings with the Cameroon Government must be for a very significant reason, are they about to grant ORR a Mining Licence, the company has mentioned there is near surface alluvial gold.

If they get a Mining Licence their JV partner in Cameroon are very able to extract gold, it would transform ORR into a producer and re-rate the value of this company by multiples.

No wonder it is getting very hard to buy in size.

I have been very critical of this company over the last decade but this new team are like a breath of fresh air, no more bull, bluster and broker promises but clear concise direction backed by their own hard cash and a determination not to dilute moving forward.

The tenements in Cameroon look outstanding, potentially world class, it also looks like they are building strong relationships with the Government which could lead to financial support.

I have been building a position here, my belief is ORR could be the next GGP, the current market valuation is farcical.

Even at 1p a share the company would only be valued at £40m.

No wonder it is becoming increasingly hard to buy around current levels !

It seems to me there is a persistent buyer around current levels, more than enough to take out any selling from Lanstead (they average just 2m a day remember)

The recent broker note made comparisons of peer company value, what was clear from that note is Oriole is materially undervalued by multiples.

The good news is the company has plenty of cash to at least August 2025 so there are no worries on dilution.

A significant amount of news is due both operationally and even corporate, maybe a new JV + expect news on their Senegal (now non core) project, this alone could be worth over half the £10m m/cap.

I think ORR shares are poised for a major move in price, could they close the year above .50p, yes IMO.

The only way to boot the loan shark into touch is for ORR to deliver news and that in turn will deliver volume, the sharks selling is around 2m shares a day, during quiet times that can hit the share price but on a larger volume period the price can and will appreciate.

Frankly I get somewhat annoyed by the BOD suggesting it was a great deal, they gave 25% of the company away for a miserable circa £2m by issuing 1 billion shares, had they raised after the BCM JV deal they could have issued 400m shares priced at .45p/.50p and raised the same cash.

There does appear to be some shrewd holders in ORR who will not be selling (in fact many have been adding) so the future bodes well and the news that has been promised gets closer and closer.
