When I saw today's RNS I thought Oriole had appointed a new outside director that could generate new ideas to create shareholder value, not so, nothing changes here, next they will be bringing in a certain Mr Bob Foster back.

Back to sleep.

ORR is looking better all the time. Onwards and upwards from here.

They cannot issue the full quota of shares in a placing as they have to allow scope for warrant exercise, which might yet happen if a major makes a move on them whilst they are in a vulnerable position. They have plenty of cash at the moment and have a realistic expectation of receiving cash from the legacy assets so they will tough it out imo and only raise on the back of decent drill results.

That is the time to derisk imo not now.

I have to confess the AGM resolutions do seem to suggest they are about to issue the full quota of shares at some point over the next 12 months, dilution is the enemy of all shareholders.

The CEO said they have enough cash to year end but I suspect they will not want to go to the market with a empty treasury so my bet is a placing will come in Q4, the question is at what price ?

Of course he cares as he’s holding over 9m shares in the company plus a stack of options and warrants, so he has a direct interest in minimising dilution.

I noticed that all resolutions were passed at the AGM including the ability to dilute current shareholders by a further 30%. Special Resolutions 5 and 6 were also passed, this means that no shareholder authority is required to issue all 470m shares.

When this team took over in 2018 there were only 475m shares in issue, now 1.6 billion, it is nailed on that by early next year there will be over 2 billion shares in issue.

When Tim Livesey was appointed in mid 2018 he was tasked with restoring shareholder value to existing shareholders, he failed woefully, those same shareholders have now been diluted out of sight, does he care, not on your nelly.

Invest here and expect to be diluted to heck and watch your money go down the pan.

Link won't post but you'll find it on ORR's Twitter page along with some other recent articles.

To put things is perpsective here listen to this recently posted video with ORR's CFO running through the value of the legacy assets:[...]

The current market cap of the company is just over £9m with legacy assets worth $8-10m and both Cameroon and Senegal are virtually in for free. This makes it highly vulnerable to a takeover at current prices, so don't be suprised if IAMG or another major decide to take them out. Personally I'd prefer to see the value of the assets fully proven up but if a bid comes out of the blue I will still have a schadenfreude moment as the shorters get crucified.

We need many many more negative posters to get us, on this board , to the critical '90% negative' posts level. Then we all pile in, to enjoy one of our 'biggest success's'.Hurrah!

Gold finger from the Vast Thread biggest success's of the past have been when over 90 percent have posted negative, and his worst ones when nearly everyone is positive. I experienced that with Stella Diamonds and had sold out at a loss because of all the negative posters. I learnt the hard way. Therefore derampers like terminator, dodge and grim reaper are best ignored.

They are only cheap compared to a previous time. If they have to raise again, it will be cheaper again. But perhaps not fundamentally cheap based on past performance and prospects.

Buyers who were spiked in Q1 above 1p have little chance in seeing their money back in a hurry.

It seems the Board are stagnant in thought process, plans are laid out clearly, ALL projects are long term, they need cash to progress Cameroon, the last raise being 10 months ago.

Nothing to get excited about medium term therefore + a 200m warrant headwind at .68p & the need for more money in Q4, a placing probably under .45p.

Broker manipulated spikes are the worst kind, that is what happened in March.

A wise move would have been to take some profit when the share price went north of 1.7p as many obviously did, and buy back now, ahead of the news from Senegal and any Brucie bonuses from the other assets.

I still have these in the bottom drawer since what? a decade ago.
Still seem to not be delivering much better than when ole Bob and co. ran the show.

It can't be easy operating at the moment, but I look back at all those missed opportunities and bad deals from the old days and from a share price perspective we're STILL worse off now than we were then. TBH I have stopped following the company's fortunes.
