19/8/2021 07:41 | Why are you here if this company is so bad? So many people like you on these boards, showing "concern" for other people's investments. I wonder why? | hazelst
19/8/2021 07:06 | Holy smoke! Look at those shorts burning in the mad scramble to get onboard this freight train to SERIOUS WEALTH!Does that fit in better? And Geotrav, you really think having a massive brand new area to start exploring is great when you have no cash? | shortarm
19/8/2021 06:46 | Will be interesting to see ORR mature over all these new positive results from Senegal and Cameroon. I wonder if they will start getting some dosh out of Turkey soon too? | geotrav
19/8/2021 06:45 | You don’t need to build a mine to make money from an AIM junior. Tims last company sold for $360m, made a lot of money for the shareholders. That wasn’t a mine, wasn’t even much past a maiden resource and some basic economic studies! | geotrav
19/8/2021 06:43 | No, gives you a brand new, massive, exploration area of new ground which will be hugely attractive to all those companies looking for the next big thing… | geotrav
19/8/2021 06:40 | Puts you about 15 years from a mine? | shortarm
19/8/2021 06:32 | Short arm, you know what a stream sampling programme does right??? | geotrav
19/8/2021 06:31 | Success in the new licences in the middle of Cameroon? As I said yesterday - “ A lesson there for us all - they do seem to under-promise and over-deliver, which is a good trait in a management team!” | geotrav
19/8/2021 06:29 | Do you really think anyone shorts an exploration company with a MCAP of like 7 million???You know what ppb is in g/t right? | shortarm
19/8/2021 06:18 | Might be about to take off ! | oakville
19/8/2021 06:09 | Shorts are now toast here after this mornings update. | luckyabbeygale
18/8/2021 18:43 | Explains the trading today, order being filled. Should tick up tomorrow. | ssrmb
18/8/2021 16:38 | It's so annoying when such large trades get printed after the market has closed. | the skipper
18/8/2021 16:02 | 4m buy after close at 0.52p. | luckyabbeygale
18/8/2021 14:49 | Perhaps he’s just happy because what they’ve been telling us all along is being supported by the results! A lesson there for us all - they do seem to under-promise and over-deliver, which is a good trait in a management team! | geotrav
18/8/2021 14:25 | Just watched it ssrmb, and he is quite rightly beaming over what's been discovered with plenty more assays to come. Maybe he's already had a call from his old employers at Barrick :-) Interview can be found here: | the skipper
18/8/2021 12:52 | Tim is always reserved and not one to blow smoke, he looked like the cat that got the cream in the interview today. I hope we don’t get taken out but you are right Skip it’s a possibility, saying that Tim and the team did alright with the Reservoir Minerals sale. | ssrmb
18/8/2021 12:40 | If it doesn't there must be a very high risk of the company being gobbled up by a much bigger fish at some point, with it sitting on all that gold and a market cap of only 7.8m. That is peanuts just based on what they have in Senegal, never mind what they are onto in Cameroon and the value of the legacy assets. | the skipper
18/8/2021 12:25 | Tim describes the results from Fare far South as ‘spectacular | ssrmb
18/8/2021 09:33 | And the cleaner they make it by disposing of the Legacy assets, the higher risk it becomes? When would IAMGold be free to try and hoover-up? | tightfist
18/8/2021 07:58 | The warrants are immaterial unless the share price gets back to around the March highs. Tim Livesey’s biggest worry now will be the prospect of a major making a bid for the company whilst the market cap remains at such a paltry level. | the skipper
18/8/2021 07:54 | grimreaper2019 - Every single AIM listed junior has to raise cash to carry out their exploration work. ORR are no different in that respect. Where they differ is that they have been particularly successful in reducing overheads, have carried out the first-ever R&D tax refund claims for AIM listed groups from HMRC (over £300k returned so far), have identified, pursued and been successful in finding and exploring a brand new frontier jurisdiction (Cameroon) and all this with a solid value base coming from a strong JV with a major partner in Senegal (with more successful results being posted today) and a whole portfolio of appreciating Royalty and other assets in East Africa and Turkey. Whether Tim would have done any different on the JV with Iamgold is a moot point. As a management team they have turned around the company, moving away from the horrors and huge losses of the 2017 requisition. All I see is success and a team who deliver on their promises... | geotrav
18/8/2021 07:44 | Look at the recent buys in over 1m a time. Then you have yesterday's 3 500k buys before the close and the 3m buy earlier that day. Then the day before a 7m buy at 0.54p. These buyers know far more than the grim reaper does. | luckyabbeygale
18/8/2021 07:41 | The main beneficiaries of any resource or discovery in Senegal will be Iamgold as they could own 70% for a measly $8m in cost of exploration, a great deal for them but not for Oriole equity holders. Livesey has already indirectly criticised the old BOD for the terms of the JV, he would have dearly loved to have been part of the process but he was too late. Oriole is a early stage explorer burning cash which they will struggle to raise without penal dilution to existing equity holders, the market knows this, they have also failed to deliver a meaningful asset sale which was their stated aim 18 months ago. It is not bashing or de-ramping to point out facts, it is a fact there is a 200m headwind in the form of 0.68p warrants, it is a fact that Oriole will need more cash shortly and that will come by share issues. The historic performance of this stock is diabolical. | grimreaper2019 |
