Well, you're a cynic, it's in your make up to find things odd even if they're not. I doubt we'll see mid 60's, but we'll see I guess. I personally think there'll be an announcement or two before the year is out.

Whatever about the politics and finances is spin-offs, 2 years ago the “imminent MN alliance” dominated this B.B. long time coming? And every RNS since (20?), i’ve wondered: is this it?

Loungeact, I thought it was worth a try. I still think I will be able to buy mid 60’s soon. And I do genuinely find the announcement odd without setting the date of the meeting.

Investors moaning at receiving a divi payment. Alright for some. I think people are being short sighted. Imagine the positive impact this will have on the next spinout.

Why would they make today’s announcement with setting and announcing the General Meeting date at the same time? A cynic might suggest because there are no contracts to announce for another week or two so it’s a news filler. They can then announce the date of the meeting next week.

Marnewton you have to think if it from the man himselfs standing.....SOH does not have a holding in skin directly as with all of us, it is held within Opti. Opti shareprice is currently less than when Skinbio didn't exist let alone holding £5m on Optis balance sheet of profit. SOH owns roughly 20% of Opti including his options. If he was to distribute the entire £5m back to Opti holders he would then gain 20% of %42 which would leave him with an 8% holding directly in Skin. The man knows exactly what he is doing.

Those criticising SoH for his grand plans to carve up OPTI and float separate divisions should articulate their concerns and send them to SoH for a response. Or better still attend one of the many investor roadshows and speak with him directly. Rest assured SoH has not been 'badly advised' his vision is playing out with laser precision, and he knows exactly what he's doing.Do you think it's chance he's turned an idea into a £50m+ business in less than 5 years?! Has his technology not been scientifically validated and commercially endorsed by some of the biggest names? Do you really think you know better than he does? If so sell up and move on.

diablo/someuwin,

Agreed. An ill conceived plan from day one.

It'll be messy, time consuming and costly - much better to own SBTX through OPTI or by buying your own.

The more I think about it the less I like it...but SoH has boxed himself into a corner. He's been badly advised.

Back to my building project.

They plan on giving away profits from an acquisition that was never in the overall plans, is nearly 10x the initial purchase cost, is fully funded and has mitigated Optis need to raise any more cash prior to serious revenue flows. Fair play SOH.

Spot on diablo.

I am against giving out 'free' shares (or cash) which we as shareholders already own.

If I was the sort of person who voted at GMs, I would vote against this motion. But it will pass anyway.

If he decides to give away any more of the company I will have to vote with my feet.

A certain lunatic called elrico a 'con artist' on the sbtx thread because he pointed out a legal mechanism for the divi and a court hearing in the northern wasteland last month. It all looks like soh has come to elricos defence like a white knight. Hes a good fellow is our soh. lol

diablo, where do you get the 6/1 ratio?

diablo,
I'm sure soh knows exactly where he is going and what he is doing
He has no "theory's"
He has firm plans and he's best placed to manage Opti, not me or you

As always, this seems a disproportionate distraction for OPTI.

Ultimately the theoretical ratio is circa 6 OPTI shares = 1 SBTX share ownership so the value today is minimal for most and if a partial distribution the "payout" will be even less.

I know there is this "feeling" of late/new OPTI shareholders stealing the value of LTH which is in SBTX but the reality is it is an early start up where OPTI hold a significant level of ownership/control and it may or may not succeed. I suppose the positive is that people view SBTX as a multi bagger.

My view is maintained that it is better managed where it is - not paying pennies out at an expense cost.

This obsession round here had only recently quietened down - now we are off again but I will say no more.......

When has SoH talked about a £1m profit in 2018?
TW just makes stuff up to please his throng.
Blimey, when SoH said that they would turn profitable in 2018,
I couldn't get him to say as much as Early, Middle or Late 2018.
So I don't know where TW gets his figures from.
Probably the same place he found that Avanti are gonna be £10 I expect.
