I think most people have the shares they want and are in waiting mode. I also agree that the frequent shouts by TW and friends of £1 by year end have not helped. I am as enthusiastic on prospects here as anyone but I can see why we are just bobbing along at the moment without any real direction of travel. However, I do think SOH has a few cards to play this year so I look forward to that RNS that makes the share price shift north in a hurry. Whether it gets to the fabled £1 this year only time will tell but I am sure it will get there and beyond at some point.

loungeact .. yes have to agree to disagree, but I thought it interesting that a view I made some time ago about the shakes packaging looking very 70's was repeated word for word by somebody else today.

The split opinion alone even from this modest captive audience proves they could do better IMHO.

ODR

elrico .. have you heard if any Go Figure rebrand is on the cards ?

Thanks for the links, all. Just had a first look at Go Figure: the products don't strike me as cheap! Mind you, on browsing a local Holland & B, most of the "health supplements" are super-pricey too.

I'm not looking to buy, just trying to build up my knowledge as a new holder (c. 1 month).

Slightly OT, but a little snippet from an interview last year regarding the listing of SBTX - “What it means for shareholders, typically they retain their position in Optibiotix, but they also gain a proportional position in the new listed company. So for a shareholder point of view, it’s a way of greatly increasing their shareholding.” Stephen O’Hara - CEO of Optibiotix. - LOL, poor Bobalot.

If the tw is to be proved right opti must have some serious news to release if we are going to see 100p. We only have 4 weeks to go. Hang on though, did he not say this in 2016 as well? I wonder how many people will be cashing in for xmas presents. lol

Personally think slimfast looks very dated and pretty bland especially the tubs they do - not sure if they still do those but they looked awful. Go figure looks vibrant and colourful to me I'm sure Peter Wenstrom from healthy marketing team would have been consulted no doubt.

Im pretty sure christina and max would have taken on board professional branding experts opinions. You are never going to please everyone, Imo the branding is eye catching and plays to the ladies eye. Other branding in the same field is minimalistic.

I would have to strongly disagree with you ODR, but I can respect it's all about opinions. Let me ask you though, looking at both products, which one looks like it's made from natural ingredients? Gofigure is subtle and for me more refined and uncluttered.

I agree the branding on the shakes is 70's and as a result may be not as eye catching as it could be. Could be a whole lot better IMHO.

For instance look at this Slimfast branding... hits the eye and no doubting what the name is ..

With the Go Figure shakes you have to concentrate more to know what they are and not immediately obvious that "Go Figure" is the actual name.

The bars are ok and in-line with more modern offerings.

Does the new launch include new branding ?

John - yeah if they've missed it out completely I think that'd be a screw up. I'd be surprised if they have. They do have the following on their website in the product description pages - 'Vegetarian | Gluten Free | No GMO | Source of fibre | Greens & Vegetables | Live Probiotic bacteria | Prebiotics'

I take your point loungeact, but I don't think that they mention it on the packaging at all.

Tweet - @KnightonFoods: The team had a fantastic time visiting @FoodMattersLive this week in #London. So much innovation and a lot of talk about #GutHealth. For more information about the #Prebiotic that we produce #Slimbiome please get in touch.

#449 - I like the design from a picture viewpoint, but the words don't, for me, differentiate the product from a general weight loss perspective. Supposed to be "hunger free" weight control, aren't they? Doesn't give that impression.

I do accept though, that it is difficult to get a scientific message across in a few words.

It's best to keep things minimal. If I had to give prominence to anything on the front it would have been the Slimbiome logo, which they've done. For me, gluten free etc belongs on the back with the rest of the ingredients information, simply because they've got better things to shout about - Slimbiome.

Plasybryn - I actually think the branding/packaging is very good. I'm a product designer by trade. The imagery is great too, promotes the use of natural foods/flavours.

Talking of branding and labelling, I asked Max a few days ago, if these products are Gluten free, and he said the are.
If that's the case, then I don't understand why they don't advertise the fact that their shakes and bars are gluten free?
Straight away that's another bonus, I would have thought.
