I was going to ask who did the PR as it's essentially non-existent. Then again, if you can't buy LP-LDL in the UK, pointless telling people about it. It was nice when about 3yrs ago Opti was mentioned in a few National newspapers.

I have to confess...even with my min 5 year view, I am very frustrated at the lack of demand for OPTI and at a loss to what it will take to ignite the blue-touch paper? Let's be honest here; we don't need II demand to move the share price northwards, retail demand can do this, it is not as though OPTI have billions of shares floating around, it has a mere 80m, well over a 3rd held by YSF and SOH.

Yeah that's what I figured. There's been a lot of talk about II or someone "accumulating in the background" but I don't really see it. I see a lot of sells and some small buys here and there.

Loungeact not saying there is or isn't a buyer but trust me you don't see em buying and when there is a big buyer like a ii it can take weeks/months to fill their orders in batches and you don't see a RNS or a trade to that effect until the order is filled.

I personally see no evidence of any substantial buying
I have though seen evidence of continued selling (the fools)
This selling looks like it may have slowed down now the price is low 60's
But I presume somebody must be picking the sells up

Silly noob question, but if we have "background buyers" - where are they when the price is as low as it is? - I don't see any buying..

OPTI will have its 20-30% rise days soon IMHo. The stagnation in share price is natural as the share price got ahead of progress, now it's the reverse, progress is not being reflected in the SP, that will be corrected very soon IMO. The market is an imperfect valuation mechanism. Recognising and acting upon those imperfections is how traders make money. Watch them flock back to OPTI in the coming weeks and months

scotty,
Thats the worst thing about the constant stagnation here
Stock markets rocketing, shares flying, boats being missed
Yet with us nowt
Our day will come though mate. Thats for sure

Its about time we had a fantastic run here
I was tempted a few weeks ago to buy some N4 but that would have meant selling some Opti
(I didn't. Missed the boat yet again while expecting/waiting for action here)

Having a fantastic run on n4P (along with other OPTI holders) lots of profit will be coming over to OPTI, when the N4P price hits the 20-25p range (multibagger with huge similarities with OPTI in the early days)

So OPTI want to cancel the share premium account to enable possible dividends? Suprised I'm the first to mention it here. Is this a move to allow them to distribute the SkinBiotix shares they hold to shareholders? Hope so.

I never suggested VRS was a company OPTi should be emulating, I simply mentioned they had a great RNS and a rising share price. How dare I point out the obvious.

VRS has gone from 20p to nearly £1 within 4 months. I’m sure investors are crying over their huge profits. It’s early days for them too. SOH said Sweetbiotix would see commercialisation in 2016/17 - you could argue that was rampy too. I’m willing to bet we won’t see that this year either. Hope I’m wrong, time will tell.

I have met Rickets the CEO of VRS twice, the first time 3 years ago, as with most CEO's he came across very well. However he has, I believe, made the mistake of taking to twitter to engage innocently with Investors. We all know Rob Terry of QPP infamy did he same, his PR team should have warned him. Thankfully SOH seems more 'grounded'

I agree though that the VRS balance sheet does not support the share price currently. I am sure there are some lessons there for OPTI to be aware of......

elric- thanks for taking the time to feed back your communications with the Co.

Interesting that some posters here holding up VRS as a shining example of a company OPTI should be emulating? Yet there is an Interesting Twitter storm raging between some well known shorters and the CEO. They are accusing him of blatant rampy comms (e.g. puffed up RNS and just LOI and podcasts, they are also ripping into the company balance sheet, which isn't great)Moral of the story, the grass may seem greener now but I'm certain OPTI will be worth more before the year is out. Cream rises to the top!
