Shazbo actually it CAN take months for a ii buy order to be filled also during the past 18 months we have had a seller or two which brought the share price down hopefully they finished a couple of months ago,for now anyway. Not saying there is a buyer but I definitely wouldn't rule it out.

No, i'm not happy. Doesn't necessarily mean I'm going to sell. What pathetic logic. I'm free to share my thoughts, good or bad.

Get back to your share price watching and let us know when the seller returns.

If only the mechanics of the stock market & the workings of the investor were that simple.
Where did you pluck £2 from ? It will go much higher than that.

If there was ''no doubt'' then the share price would be 200p wouldn't it?

It will - Without a shadow of doubt.

I think it more likely investor fatigue. We have been at this level or thereabouts for some considerable time. Even though most here, myself included, know there is a lot going on and about to happen, it does become frustrating when it takes so long. And, yes, there have been other opportunities that could have been taken but we keep holding here because we believe. I just hope all our faith is well rewarded soonish.

Trotters Trading is reading as a P&D trader to me. Best to assume there is no large buy order being worked.

Is there a chance the share price is low simply because no one wants to buy? I'm not experienced enough to read between the lines, but just wondering if it's possible that we're just finding things to justify the SP?

Spot on imo. It's the lack of buyers that is the issue, not exactly the number of sellers (profit takers?)

Holding up well considering the wider market sell off. As I stated earlier this week, it's inconceivable there is no II interest in OPTI. If SoH won't let them in via a discounted placing then the only other way in for them is assert influence over the MM's to keep the share price in the range they are willing to pay. This would explain why the share price range has held steady and the spread is relatively tight for low volumes. We will know for sure if the large buy orders being worked finally show there face

Shrewd if it was sell being worked speccys small buy would have been filled straight away and I wouldn't have thought you would have been quoted huge premiums,if anything and imo there would be a buy being worked.

How has a MM quoted you ''huge premiums''?

Speccy

There's definitely something going on behind the scenes.

I've been quoted huge premiums by the MM for any decent size last couple of weeks yet 10-20k you can get below mid at times.

Very strange and does have that feel that there is something bigger going on behind the scenes, whether that's a big worked sell or buy who knows.

It's becoming obvious that whatever it is it needs to done before the price can go anywhere meaningful.

Intriguing market behaviour today.

I set a limit order for 65p last night which was 1p below yesterday's final offer price.

Nothing happened all day, with the share price sat resolutely at 66p despite relentless sells all day.

It finally dropped at 16:22 hrs and my order triggered to buy 1,584 shares at the stupendous bargain price of 64.445p. I feel kinda dirty having wished the price down all day!

So the question is - if all the trades before that had really been sells as indicated, how can selling 57,648 shares relentlessly all day not cause the price to dip earlier?

Could it be the MMs didn't want to encourage people to buy shares? Could they be filling a great big order? Could they have decided at the last minute to fill a couple of small buy orders that had been lying around all day because they had achieved their targets?

I'm amazed they would let a buy order sit there all day for 1p less than the offer price and not drop the price to fill it until the last minute.
